Very lovely shave this morning. Have the Hone razor on its way. I'm excited about that. I like big ballast and I can not lie.

I mentioned in my last video, B Dave and I are starting on a new adventure! No, it doesn't involve midgets or donkeys, Rich! We're going to be doing a live interview chat type of show. You can follow either of our YouTube channels to see the first few episodes when they happen. The first should be this coming Monday in the early evening west coast time. West Coast represent!! Anyway, as you know, you can never get enough Daves.

All caught up again. Other than needing to mark my bingo card with the calls I found. I'm probably already a winner, but the suspense is fun anyway.

I always perk up when I see a Lakewood Soap. I think it's a very good soap - I'm not a big compiler of soap comparisons, they're pretty much all fine, but Lakewood is one of two artisans of whom I am aware, who live with me here in Tennessee. She is over in East Tennessee, alongside the Smoky Mountains, where I grew up. It is heaven. In my mind, her soap is made in paradise. I love this particular soap, and can recommend one other, Smokeberry, which is just that, smoke and berry. I don't think she's made or used a scent I don't like, but Smokeberry is on a very short list of all-time favorites. The caveat to my recommendation is that I love smoke. Fish, pork, firewood, soap, smoke is for me what bacon is for so many, so consider that. Cheers!

A professional-level shave to follow a semi-professional first live show of Drinks and Daves last night! The wife is gone for work this week until Friday morning, so the evenings will likely be out on the deck until then. Well sometimes they are anyway, but it's without the side-eye look this week!

I went to look at their site and was bummed to see they don't have either of the soaps I have from them anymore. I suppose such is the way of keeping people buying.

I wouldn't usually use the RX two days in a row given the risk of irritation each time if not treated with respect, but I was running behind and didn't want to take the added time of an open-blade shave. I did rock it and ended up with the dolphins screamin'. Many of you know I enjoy watching the airport and sometimes listening to ATC. Well, I found out there is a monthly community roundtable meeting with the airport that's available to the public. It's tonight and meets right in our town! I likely won't go because it will interfere with deck time, but you can join via Zoom. Exciting stuff!
