Nurse Dave's Journal

My wife took a few months to settle on the idea that our daughter had moved to Tennessee. I find that facetime solves most of the problems. And chocolate.
I was born and raised in Tennessee; after living elsewhere for 30 years,I returned , 6 years ago, and am still settling on the idea. But person-to-person, which is real life, the people here are very friendly, and want to be moral and fair. They will go to great lengths of personal sacrifice to help someone in need. The thousands of Churches, regardless of Creed, will spring to action at a moment's notice. As one drives by, people smile and wave. The firefighters, who train extensively for their jobs, do so largely at their own expense, and are not paid for their jobs. That spirit is common, and living with it can inspire. On the scale of personal interaction, and for their deep desire to help, I can say that it is a good and safe place to live. If I can be a resource, please feel free to PM me .

Well, I don't know any better. Someone said I should try other blades, so I would try Personna.

Whooeeee what a shave! Only 2 passes and I was almost dolphin screaming throughout. Did a clean-up on the ole neckle region and was good to go. And I'm still waiting for someone to find a tea-scented EdP that is ONLY tea-scented. This week feels a bit crazy. Taking on two new projects and then being gone next week. Being very productive, but the feels busy and wish this was all happening other than summertime with lots of people being gone. One of my nurses is transferring positions within the company, so we'll be feeling pretty short while people are out on vacation in July and I'm needing to cover his work. Anyone looking for a job? I could use someone that actually shaves their face around here to talk to.

Up and at em at the regular time, but at a more relaxed pace. I'm working from home today because my daughter has two appointments. Dressed for work in shorts and t-shirt and fired up my laptop to discover the wifi wasn't working. You IT people will love this. I called support because they swapped out my laptop for new one a month ago but this was my first time using it at home. They told me to try some things, basically making sure it wasn't on airplane mode and then said they've been having issues with some of the new ones and I likely needs some drivers updated. So they gave me the number to some other support that could do that. I said "Well, wouldn't that require me to be connected to the internet"? They said no, they have some things they can do in the background to connect and push updates. That didn't make much sense to me, unless we've hired some magicians, but call I did. After telling my story to this new tech person they said "If you can't connect to the internet, why did they have you call us?" Exactly. So my work from home day has turned into a more laid back email and messaging day. Doing some research on what we should plan to do in Hawaii and getting in some extra deck time. B Dave suggested I spend my free time shopping for watches. Jeez, that guy is an enabler.
