You know, I've been cooled down with my shaving purchases for the last few years, but getting the Hammer razor might have stirred up the pot a bit. I think I need another nice heavy razor or two.

I'm surprised that the chinese have NOT made a "clone" of the essence tedalus yet... I mean with how popular it seems to be , don't they usually clone that type of thing.... I know it would be different from the real deal , but , it would let people who don't typically make purchases for that amount see if they even like that style/ type of razor...

I was going to say maybe it's because of the precision engineering it requires. But they could probably make a chunkier version of it.

Parents are here now which means I'm sleeping downstairs and having to share my den. Also had to wake up earlier than usual to get my wife to the commuter train to have enough cars at home for everyone.

Had an interesting interaction last night. Long story short I got into it with a neighbor two houses down about street parking. I don't think I've actually had an argument with someone I haven't had a personal relationship with before. Oddly enough it was kind of fun. I think I threw him off by continuing to agree that he totally can park anywhere he feels like it, but why is he doing it. I think he didn't know what to do with me agreeing with him on anything. Silly old men.

Today is my Friday. Oldest graduates from high school tomorrow. So 4-day weekend!

Whew! All caught up. Graduation Friday went pretty well. The speeches were mercifully short even though there were several of them. The sun came out more than it was expected to which led to the use of the 6S for two days because of a sunburn. But back to the regularly scheduled program as I start to peel now. The grad is off to LA for a girls road trip and the youngest is getter emotional thinking about her sister finally moving out soon. While I think about returning to my own bed Tuesday night after having to wake up at 4am that morning to take my parents to the airport.

Yup, same ole shave. Like my hero, Sam. Maybe this wasn't the best razor choice given my dragging butt level of tiredness, but to all outward appearances, I have the same understated professional-level shave as always. I did get a little zap with the alum though. Get the den back tomorrow morning so we should have an actual different soap n stuff. Enough of living like a hobo with being restricted to a singular soap.

This feels like an attack.......
Hey, if you're happy not taking advantage of the options presented to you that some people don't have, that our founding fathers instilled in the bedrock of this democracy, that the CEC proudly preaches to, that separates us from underdeveloped countries, and can be brought to you with free shipping and a holiday discount code, far be it from me to shake my head at you.

Could you hear the American Anthem starting to be played halfway through that?

Halfway? It started on the word happy.

That was beautiful, man.
