Italian shaving goodness this morning with Cella Red!

Razor: Paradigm Diamondback
Blade: Wizamet Super Iridium
Brush: Semogue Boar
Pre-Shave: Cella Pre-shave gel
Lather: Cella Red Shave Cream with Shea Butter
Aftershave: Cella Lozione Dopabarba Aftershave
Additional Care:
Osma Tradition Alum Block
Humphreys Maravilla
Roberts Borotalco Talcum Powder

The Cella Pre-shave Gel is super slick and smells like the Cella Aftershave, which is to say, not at all like Cella Red soap/cream/crap. Cella, the red soap, is one of my favorite scents, and back in the day, around 2013, it was the second soap/cream I bought after my beloved TOBS Grapefruit. I love the almond aroma and revel in it while it's on my face. I did the Marco Method with a boar brush, and got soap all over the place, but ended up with a brush full of well-hydrated lather. The Diamondback with a Wizamet left me BBS smooth after four irritation free passes. I finished up with Cella AS and Borotalco. I'm feeling good!

Thanks for reading and have a great shave!

Nothing like a quality Italian almond product on your face! Cells is a favorite of mine too among the classic soaps. Haven’t gotten to try the AS yet though. Nice one Frank!

A great shave for my special Sunday.

Razor: Rex Supply Envoy
Blade: Wizamet Super Iridium
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Super Badger
Lather: Saponificio Varesino Cosmo Formula Beta 4.2
Aftershave: Pitralon (Swiss) After-Shave
Additional Care:
Osma Tradition Alum Block
Roberts Borotalco Talcum Powder

I tried out the Wizamet SI in the Envoy this morning. I'm really impressed with the smoothness of this blade in each razor I've tried it in. The Envoy has a fair amount of blade feel, and it demands attention, but it rewards that attention with a superb shave. The SV Cosmo provided a fantastic lather whipped up on my face with the Chubby 2. Everything was top notch, and I'm feeling crisp and clean this morning!

Thanks for reading and have a great shave!

Those Wizamet and Polsilver blades are really good! I don't know if I have ever read a bad review on either of those.

Yep, I'm going to go ahead and order a couple of sleeves so I'll have a good supply.

Up early, and tried out Speick shaving cream.

Razor: Gillette Fatboy Adjustable
Blade: Wizamet Super Iridium
Brush: Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Atomic Rocket
Lather: Speick Shaving Cream (first use)
Aftershave: Speick Aftershave
Additional Care:
Humphreys Maravilla
Roberts Borotalco Talcum Powder

I love Speick Aftershave, so I bought the shaving cream. It has what I'd call a medicinal aroma, but it's not unpleasant at all, plenty slick with good residual slickness. Hopefully the healing properties of the mythical Speick plant will help soothe the small nick I gave myself, doing the Gillette Slide[emoji769], poorly, with the wrong hand. I'm ambidextrous when I shave, shaving the left side with my left hand, and the right side with my right. But up under my left side chin, I have a little trouble doing the slide, but it gets the trouble spot smooth. I was just a little uncoordinated this morning, and paid for it with a little too much lateral motion. It barely bled, and will be fine tomorrow. I just was carelessly executing an advanced maneuver, and it cost me. It had stopped bleeding by the time I finished my fourth pass, and I'm BBS. A bit of Speick Aftershave to finish things off, and I'm ready for a full day of Indeed.com job hunting.

Thanks for reading and have a great shave!

Sorry about the nick. I have a couple trouble spots on my neck as well...maybe I will try out the G-Slide as well. Good luck with the job hunt...I hope it is productive.

Job hunting huh? Looking into anything particular Frank?

Only if a dock at low tide on a hot August day smells like gloriously fragrant almond paste! [emoji12]
I'm currently studying to do Computer Support. I was a System Administrator 20 years ago, and I'm bringing my skills up to date. But while I do this, which will take 6-9 months, I'm looking for a work from home job, which seems to mean phone support, I'm not really picky about it, since it's a temporary job.
