It's "Women of Rock Wednesday" and today I'm going with a couple of my favorite cuts from The Pretenders. Hope you enjoy.. Hope you enjoy.
Fantastic shave this morning! So far, this one wins the week! Returned to Martin de Candre and their excellent "Original" shave soap. Fantastic lavender / rosemary scent with phenomenal lather built with the Stirling Soap Co. synth for three passes with the Gillette Red Tip and I finished with alum, Quinn's Lavender witch hazel and vintage Yardley "Black Label" aftershave lotion, talc & EdC.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Cold front moving through today and boy, can I feel it!! Yikes! Cooler weather coming though so it's worth the discomfort.

I was sitting in my car a few years ago....enjoying the SiriusXm and just waiting for the light to change....when Talk Of The Town started playing......the vibrato in Chrissie's voice mesmerized me......and I nearly missed the light. My world back in the 80's was filled with so many crappy speakers that I hadn't noticed how incredible her voice is.
Please tell us the dog made it.The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Crazy dream last night! Was in a restaurant talking with Mick Jagger... Eric Clapton was there too! It then changed and I (along with my co-worker) were paramedics... for dogs.. On an emergency call and I kept getting pissed because he was driving and kept taking wrong turns...
Don’t know. I woke up before it got that far.Please tell us the dog made it.

Fantastic sweet, cherry pipe tobacco scent with incredible lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Gillette Super Speed and I finished with alum, Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching ASL, Clubman talc and Alexandria Fragrances "Sweet Smoke" EdP
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Weather got pretty rough yesterday. A couple of tornado warnings. Don't think either actually touched down, but the storm which prompted the alert passed right over us.

Wonderful shave with which to close out the workweek! Returned to RazoRock and their excellent "P.160" shave soap. Fantastic traditional Italian almond / marzipan scent with incredible lather built with the Simpson synth for three passes with the Gillette Super Speed and I finished with alum, Thayers unscented witch hazel, Epsilon "03 Amber" ASL, Clubman talc and Aramis "Tuscany Per Uomo" EdT.

Fantastic woody / aromatic scent with incredible lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Gillette Red Tip and I finished with alum, Quinn's Lavender witch hazel, the matching ASL and Lalique "Lalique Pour Homme" EdT.

Fantastic Old School scent with incredible lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Gillette Red Tip and I finished with alum, Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching skin food splash and Murray and Lanman "Florida Water".
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Not much to report. Dreams of deep snow last night. Gave me flashbacks of the time I was stationed for the winter at Naval Training Center Great Lakes. Needed tauntauns to get around!

Today's shave edged out yesterday's as the one to beat! Vintage shaving Nirvana today! Returned to my vintage Yardley suite. Wonderful Old School English lavender scent with phenomenal lather built with the Ever-Ready synth for three passes with the Gillette Red Tip and I finished with alum, Quinn's Lavender witch hazel, followed by the matching ASL, talc & EdC.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Follow up with the doc this morning. Everything looked great and went ahead and got the flu shot while I was there.

Phenomenal shave this morning! Returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's new "Fougère" shave soap and splash. This is one of the best scents I've ever encountered. Deep, complex & rich, this scent is simply incredible! A very thick and slick lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Gillette Red Tip and I finished with alum, Quinn's Lavender witch hazel, followed by the matching skin food splash, Clubman talc & Houbigant "Fougère Royale" EdP.
