It's "Women of Rock Wednesday" and today I'm revisiting Siouxsie And The Banshees. Hope you enjoy.
Another "Best shave of the week" candidate this morning! Returned to PAA and their excellent 4711 homage, "11235" shave soap. Fantastic Old School scent with incredible lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the '49 Executive and I finished with alum, Quinn's "Grapefruit and Orange Rind" witch hazel, Muelhens "4711" aftershave splash, Pecksniff's "Grapefruit and Citron" talc and "4711" EdC.

Another fantastic shave this morning! Returned to Stirling Soap Co. and their excellent "Bay Rum" shave soap. Fantastic traditional Old School scent with phenomenal lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the '56 Gold Tip and I finished with alum, Quinn's "Grapefruit and Orange Rind" witch hazel and Clubman "Virgin Island Bay Rum" aftershave lotion.

Stirling Soap Co. / Paladin / Gillette / Wizamet / Quinn's / Clubman
I bought tickets to see Journey in concert back in 1987 because the Outfield was touring with them. When I arrived at the Long Beach Arena....the sign out front said that someone called "Glass Tiger" was the opening act. I was crestfallen. But the next day I went straight to the record store and bought their album. Every song was great. And still is. Sadly they suffer the same fate most Canadian bands are subjected to in America......one hit wonder status.
Currently at the ER with Crystal. She had another severe reaction to something this morning. Not sure what she reacted to exactly but she gave herself two epinephrine shots which didn’t help so after a call to 911 and an ambulance ride, she’s doing better. Hope to get out of here soon.
Wow, having that strong of a reaction to something and not even knowing what it is, really blows!
The most likely candidate is a protein drink she had this morning. She’s highly allergic to bananas and, although not listed in the ingredients, that’s our best guess.

Great shave this morning! Returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's excellent "Shave MD" soap and splash. Bright, effervescent citrus soda scent with phenomenal lather built with the Kensurfs G7 synth for three passes with the '56 Gold Tip and I finished with alum, Quinn's "Grapefruit and Orange Rind" witch hazel, the matching skin food splash and Dior "Eau Sauvage" EdT.

Going with a "Backrooms" / "Liminal Space" theme for today. Hope you enjoy.
Fantastic shave this morning! To think I almost skipped today due to yesterday's relatively late shave. Returned to The Art of Shaving and their Lemon EO shave soap. Very little of the original scent remains but the lather quality (built with the Sorrentino Brushworks synth) more than made up for it. Three passes with the '58 Super Speed and I finished with alum, Quinn's "Grapefruit and Orange Rind" witch hazel, Myrsol "Agua De Limón" aftershave lotion, Pecksniff's Grapefruit and Citron" talc and Alvarez Gómez "Agua de Colonia Concentrada" EdC.

Revisiting Texas-based Dark Wave / Goth band Twin Tribes this morning. Hope you enjoy.
Phenomenal shave this morning! Returned to PAA and their excellent Crabtree and Evelyn For Men homage, "Crabapple & Newton" soap & splash. I have a couple of tubs (and refills) of the original Crabtree and Evelyn soap (along with the splash) and I can say the scent is freakin' spot on! Incredibly thick and slick lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the '49 Milord and I finished with alum, Thayers "Cucumber" witch hazel, the matching aftershave lotion / cologne and a dusting of Clubman talc.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Today feels more like a "Monday" than yesterday! Not the best night's sleep. At some point I pulled the sheet out from the foot of the mattress where it was tucked. So, up in the middle of the night to fix it. A great shave and coffee are helping. Gotta say, I'm really surprised with the results I'm getting from the OXO Rapid Brewer. This little gizmo makes a damned good cuppa!!

Another incredible shave this morning! Sticking with PAA and their new Florida Water homage, "Agua Dulce" soap & splash. Great scent, but not identical to the Peruvian version I use. Makes me wonder if they patterned it after the American version. Still, it smells great with Incredibly thick and slick lather built with the Simpson "Chubby" 2 synth for three passes with the '49 Milord and I finished with alum, Quinn's "Grapefruit and Orange Rind" witch hazel, the matching aftershave lotion / cologne a dusting of Pecksniff's "Grapefruit and Citron" talc and Murray and Lanman Peruvian Florida Water.
