Going with a couple today from bassist / composer, Andy West. Hope you enjoy.



Fantastic shave this morning! New soap day with yesterday's arrival of Stirling Soap Company's Floid Blue homage, "Cool Blue" shave soap. The scent is identical to the juice and it has nice menthol cooling (kicked up to 11 by using the PAA "Ice Cube" preshave soap) that feels great on a hot and muggy morning! Super thick and slick lather built with the Paladin 2-band badger brush for three passes with the '56 "Gold Tip" and I finished with alum, Quinn's "Grapefruit and Orange Rind" witch hazel, Epsilon "Blue Mediterranean" aftershave lotion a dusting of vintage Williams Aqua Velva talc and Phoenix Shaving "Sacré Bleu" EdP.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Not much to report. Again, not the best night's sleep. Coffee and a great shave are helping.

Wonderful shave this morning! Returned to TOBS and their excellent "Lime Zest" shave cream. Fantastic bright, crisp scent with superbly thick and slick lather built with the Paladin 2-band badger brush for three passes with the '56 "Gold Tip" and I finished with alum, Quinn's "Grapefruit and Orange Rind" witch hazel, vintage Shulton "Fresh Lime" aftershave lotion and vintage "Old Spice" talc & EdC.

Wonderful boozy-citrus scent with a nice thick and cushioning lather built with the Rich Man Shaving badger brush for three passes with the '56 Super Speed and I finished with alum, Quinn's "Grapefruit and Orange Rind" witch hazel, Clubman Reserve "Tequila Tease" aftershave lotion and Creed "Virgin Island Water" EdP.

Phenomenal shave this morning! Easily a tie with yesterday's. New soap/splash day with yesterday's arrival of "Doc Holiday" from @CBLindsay. Wonderful scent with notes of peach, leather, and gun powder among others. Über thick and cushioning lather built with the Rich Yuengel synth brush for three passes with the '56 Super Speed and I finished with alum, the matching aftershave tonic, Clubman talc and Coty "Stetson" EdC.

Another incredible shave this morning! Setting the bar pretty high for the rest of week with today's session. New soap/splash day with the arrival of "Lemoncello" from ETHOS Grooming Essentials. Fantastic boozy/citrus scent with a wonderfully slick and cushioning lather built with the Simpson "Chubby" 1 Silvertip badger brush for three passes with the '58 Super Speed and I finished with alum, the matching skin food splash, Pecksniff's talc and Acqua di Parma "Colonia" EdC.

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Going with a couple of cuts from my favorite Sting solo album, The Soul Cages. Hope you enjoy.



Phenomenal shave this morning! Returned to The Art of Shaving and their excellent "Lemon EO" shave soap and ASL. Not much scent left on the soap but the lather lather quality (built with the Sorrentino Brushworks synth) more than made up for it. Three passes with the '58 Super Speed and I finished with alum, the matching aftershave lotion, Pecksniff's talc and Alvarez Gómez "Agua de Colonia Concentrada" EdC.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Light scents are a must today as they're forecasting heat indices between 107° to 112°!
