Phenomenal shave this morning! Returned to Phoenix Shaving and their excellent AdP Colonia homage "Amalfi 3K" shave soap and splash. Great scent with incredible lather built with the Wild West Brushworks synth for three passes (plus DE clean up around the neck) with the Feather AC straight and I finished up with alum, Quinn's Pink Grapefruit and Orange Rind witch hazel, & AdP "Colonia" the aftershave lotion, Pecksniff's "Grapefruit & Citron talc & AdP "Colonia" EdC.

There's only one song I feel I could feature today.
It's always a treat when I come back to this soap after some time away. It is to me possibly the greatest soap ever. No scent but incredibly thick and slick lather built with the Phoenix Shaving synth synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the RazoRock Game Changer and I finished up with alum, and the matching aftershave lotion & talc.

Fantastic shave with which to kick off the workweek! Returned to Martin de Candre and their phenomenal "Agrumes" shave soap. Nice, light citrus scent with incredible lather built with the Paladin 2-Band badger brush for for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Timeless TRBR38 and I finished up with alum and Dior "Eau Sauvage" aftershave balm and EdT.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Tired this morning. Nit the best night's sleep. One of those nights where it feels like you wake up every half hour. Coffee and a great shave are helping.

Fantastic old school scent with incredible lather built with the Paladin 2-Band badger brush for for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Super 109 and I finished up with alum, Quinn's "Grapefruit and Orange Rind" witch hazel and Clubman "Virgin Island Bay Rum" aftershave lotion.

Great scent and incredible lather built with the Wild West Brushworks synth for two passes (plus touch-up) with the Super 109 and I finished up with alum, Quinn's "Grapefruit and Orange Rind" witch hazel and Muelhens "4711" aftershave lotion & cologne.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Up at 4:30 and out the door by 5:30 to get Crystal to the hospital for a lumbar injection by 6:30. Hence, the low-scented shave items. No time for a pic today.

Great lemon-lime citrus soda scent with incredible lather built with the Wild West Brushworks badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '56 "Gold Tip" and I finished up with alum, Quinn's "Grapefruit and Orange Rind" witch hazel, the matching skin food splash and Clubman "Citrus Musk" cologne.
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Early morning storms rolling through made me wish I could have stayed in bed a little longer. Great sleeping weather!
