Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

It's "Freaky Friday" and today I'm going with a couple from Oingo Boingo. Hope you enjoy.

Fantastic shave this morning! Great lather from the Floris "No.89" shave cream built with the Paladin PK-47. Three passes with the '56 Gillette Super Speed and I finished with alum, Thayers Cucumber witch hazel, Floris "No.89" aftershave splash and EdT. This cream is very concentrated. Could have used half of what I actually did.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Finally Friday! Yes!! 😁

Hope you have a great day. :)

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

It's "Synthwave Saturday" so here's a live stream. Hope you enjoy.

Whoa! It's been so long since I last used Martin de Candre I had forgotten how great it was! Phenomenal lather built with the Sorrentino synth for three passes with the British Gillette No.58 set and I finished with alum and Acqua di Parma Colonia aftershave balm.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Busy weekend. Many calls after the storms that went through yesterday and last night.

Hope you have a great day. :)

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

I have a relaxing Sci-Fi ambient stream for you today. Hope you enjoy.

Great shave this morning. New soap day with the "Blue Moon Bay Rum" from Phoenix Shaving. I've actually had this soap for a while but was doing the Williams challenge so I haven't been able to use it until now. Phenomenal lather and wonderful scent. Kind of a floral, evergreen bay rum. Very nice! Two passes (plus touch-up) with the British Gillette No.58 set and I finished with alum, Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel and the matching aftershave lotion & cologne.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: More storms last night and more calls today. Hey, Mother Nature, give me a break!

Hope you have a great day. :)

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

The haunting, surreal nature of dreams were a common theme in both 80's music and music videos and so this week I'm going to be featuring some of them. Hope you enjoy.

Great shave this morning. After a long hiatus, I returned to my vintage Yardley suite of products. Incredibly thick and slick lather built with the Paladin "Somerset" for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '49 Gillette Milord and I finished with alum, Thayers Cucumber witch hazel, vintage Yardley aftershave lotion & talc and Brut Special Reserve.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: My dreams over the past few days are what inspired this week's music theme. Incredibly vivid and, though not fully lucid, I was able to wake myself up at times. Woke myself up from one at around 2:30 this morning and pretty much "cat napped" the rest of the night. Coffee and a great shave are helping.

Hope you have a great day. :)

I have been having weird dreams recently too. For instance, last night I was underway as a Navy nurse. A sailor fell overboard, drowned, and somehow got chopped to pieces, which were collected in a large fishnet. The net was placed in the netting along the starboard side of the flight deck. As the new guy, I was tasked with sewing the pieces back together. Outfitted with a collared flotation device, I kneeled in the netting and got to work. The sea was choppy with deep swells, and I was getting soaked by the 10+ story waves washing over the deck and splashing up the hull. Plucky nurse that I am, I persisted. I was almost done when the guy’s head somehow tumbled into the sea. Luckily, it didn’t sink, it just kind of bobbed there some while flight deck crew retrieved it with a VERY LONG pole, and got it back to me. Then I woke up. 😵
