The lather for shave 2 with the ocean mist was dramatically better. This time I added a small amount of water to the soap to bloom and poured that into my Stirling boar brush before loading. This got me a much better load and a much better lather as a result. Tomorrow I will be bringing in a badger.
 
Day two was better than day one. I bloomed the soap and loaded heavily then added a ton of water. It made a very slick lather.

I still need to dial it in some more, but it is going to be a good month of shaves. I am really loving the scent of the soap.
 
Didn’t have time to weigh the tub this morning but a great shave (#3) was had!

The LNHC Somali Rose is a great scent and I’m not sure why I haven’t really used it since acquiring it. I received it in a PIF from @dkeester a while back. I believe he used it once, had a reaction to the Rose, and decided to move on. I’ve used it maybe twice since then. So while it’s not a new tub, it’s pretty much full. Again, the scent is great, and I’m getting a very slick lather which is great for the SR learning process!

Starting to see a tiny dent in the soap I think...
 
Shave 5, there’s a quarter sized hole in the center of my soap as I reach tub bottom. Did get the chance to take a photo of the tub weight before the shave:

105 g which is 15 g down from the 120 g I started at!
 
I'm not really a balm guy so never really got into her aftershave balms. But I must say being on Day 4 of her soap and the matching balm. Coupled with the Utah winter I am loving her balm! I knew the soap was spectacular but man the balm is fantastic! Way to go @LNHC you hit it out of the park!

Great shave as usual. A very small dent in the soap is making loading the brush a bit easier.
 
Another great shave with LNHC Ocean Mist was had. Decided to bring out the monster sized Omega boar today. Been to long since i have used it. Just got in the habit of reaching for the Stirling boar while getting it broken in. The omega got me a fantastic later pretty easy. I decided to weigh my tub last night before bed and it came in a 131g, so i have been averaging just a smidge over 5g per shave so far. If that holds i should kill this soap right around the end of the month!
