Let's All 3017... 2020 CBL Tonsorial Edition!

Once I started getting less soap in my CBL container, it stopped sticking so well to the bottom, so I transfered what was left to my lather bowl and the texture helped gold the pieces. Today I finished it! 51g of soap used in 30 days. That's an average of 1.7g per day. So glad it's over, and ready to relax for a couple of days with CBL Permium! Then I've got a monkey puck to try (V1.5)

2020 Shave # 33 ( 452 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Berkeley Shave Selector/Brass Handle
Blade: Wizamet (14)
Brush: TSC 1st Anniversary Brush
Soap: CBL Tonsorial Fresh Lime 3017 (33)
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: CFG Ghost Town Barber
Fragrance: CFG Ghost Town Barber
Shave 33 with the CBL Tonsorial Fresh Lime and I can tell this is going to be around a couple more weeks.......YAY! The razor I decided to go with @Clouds recommendation and used the heavy brass handle I have from @Techichi and tightened it up and then dialed it back 1/2 a turn. I had a spectacular shave with it and after giving thought to the fact that I was on shave 14 on the Wizamet which definitely needs replacing I know it will be even better with a fresh blade so this razor is not only a great piece of hstory to have but one for the rotation at times also. Following @NurseDave 's recommendation of me needing GTB I went with it for the Splash and EdT. Was going to work but not feeling it. Have things around the house I can get done, take the dog to the follow up vet visit and a meeting tonight so took a Cadre Friday. Have a great day Cadre !!

Blade: Gillette 7 O'clock Super Platinum (Black) (4th Shave)
Soap/Cream: CBL Premium Soap - CBL Tonsorial - Balsamic Oud (11th Shave)
Brush: Stirling Synthetic
The Penultimate Aftershave: Humphrey's Lavender Witch Hazel
The Ultimate Aftershave: Fine Accouterments - American Blend
And once again...pretty much the same items. Switched back to the Stirling Synthetic...Other than that...The same. Two pass shave today instead of three, and no reason except that I just felt like it. DFS and life is normal as usual. Going with the same aftershave too...Fine American Blend...it is an aftershave that I consider a barber shop type scent. Though it isn't a traditional barbershop scent. Don't know...I just picture this scent in a barbershop for some reason. I'll take it easy on those in the elevator today though. So I will keep the glugs to three or four.

The CBL Tonsorial gave up the ghost today. My puck has been looking like the pics that @Spider posted for the past couple of days. After today's shave there was not enough left to shave with tomorrow. I don't have a clown puke container, so the very tiny crumbs went down the drain. 34 shaves seems like a good number for a soap like this one.

The Ultimate Aftershave: L&L Grooming (Declaration Grooming) Cuir et Epices After Shave Balm
Man! Not sure what I did differently this morning, but the amount of rich, thick lather was crazy amazing today! Man did it feel good on my face! Did a three passer and had so much lather left. Did my usual by applying excess lather on my face and leaving it there while I clean up. Decided to leave it there while I made coffee too. And then left there a while longer. Not sure why...but man did it feel great on my skin. Cold water rinsed it off (it was a little sad...like saying goodbye to a best friend) and my face was super slick and super smooth. Love the way it feels! If it wasn't for the depressions on the neck on either side of the throat center-line (these are my trouble areas), I would be BBS! But I will take a DFS+ for the morning.

Had a busy weekend but I did get my first shave for One Blade February in on Saturday, but it ended up being a shower shave due to time. Got my second shave in today before work. Still working through the CBL Tonsorial too.
