Hahaha, exactly.
Now I know I have been giving Chiseled Face and specifically GTB a hard time but I have been getting much better performance as of late. Using more water and loading up on more soap has lead to richer lathers. The sweetness of the scent has subsided. But this is probably the last time I use a Chiseled Face product. Others will disagree. That is why we live in America folks.
 
Actually thought about getting my backup in the mail to him ? Then thought if he was serious he would have ordered and had one by now ?
 
Actually I was thinking I would wait until everyone was done and 3017 a new tub on my own. I figured watching everyone else get to change up daily while I ran through a new tub would be a fair punishment lol.
 
So, unless my kitchen scale is off, I have used 60 grams of soap in 8 shaves, which is surprising. I haven't been hate loading, but the soap has been coming off the puck in a thick paste for several days now. I won't complain because the shaves are stupendous, but that is lots of soap.

This also means that I will probably finish the tub before too long, possibly before the end of the month. I was expecting to be at this longer.

My next 3017 (whenever that is!) will have to be something hard and triple milled.

\\n\\nOnly thing i would say you might want to try is if you want a CRAZY strong menthol soap to try their Cryogen(i really like menthol but i keep this one as my Wake the Hell Up soap). beyond that i would agree that there are better options out there.
 
I forgot to come back over here and tell you I’m still in. But my tub isn’t going down fast at all. I may finish in April.

Whoa Whoa Whoa Whoa. 7.5g of soap per shave? Are you spackling up a hole in your face. Must be thick like butter.

Well guys, my GTB is gone. I had a fairly crappy shave to mark the occasion. You can check my journal for the details. I do honestly feel bad that I really underestimated the amount left in my tub. I really thought there was a lot more in there lol.

So as a "punishment" of sorts, I had thought maybe I could 3017 a brand new tub of something once Doug finishes his tub (since he started this 3017). I figured since he'll likely be enjoying a ton of variety from Josh's awesome PIF and I would be limited to one thing, it would kind of be fair right? I'm open to other suggestions though...within reason lol.
