Gear: RR Game Changer .68 SB, Astra SP blade, Stirling 2-band synth brush, CBL Fresh Vetiver soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe, Nivea Sensitive AS Balm, CBL California Sunrise AST, and Dior Homme Sport ‘19 to finish!
Yesterday felt like a long day…but in many ways it also seemed to fly by…know what I mean? Took me nearly 4 hours to weed through and catch up on emails from the past 2ish weeks. Thankfully that’s over though and I was able to get out and do some visits.
Great shave this morning! Not really anything to report. May be time to switch out to the Tedalus again soon, get a bit further down the road towards 1k open blade shaves. Finished up with a nice dose of citrus.
Most of the day will be spent at our EOL facility today, getting in to meet most of the new patients. Should be another busy day.
Weather-wise, Santa Barbara is doing its usual end of summer/delay fall tantrum. A bit warm today as we may hit mid 80s but the nights are getting more chilly which is nice.

Wednesday!
Great shave this morning. A little tired. It’s been two long work days so far, so just more mentally exhausted than anything I think. 3 smooth passes overs great lather. I think I’ve made only a very small dent in this tub of CBL…it’s packed! Aventus clone to finish.
More of the same today! Still lots to do but hopefully more manageable today. Going to try getting back to an OT workout this early evening to close out the day.

Great shave this morning. 3 passes with no fuss. Finished up with the Fine AB combo FTW! One more shave on the GC for tomorrow, then it’s back to some open blade stuffs.
Man, OT workout last night was tough! I hit my usual calorie burn and splat points, but definitely did not hit my usual tread speeds or free weight effort. Crazy how much two weeks off and a bunch of good food will mess your fitness to it own up!

Great shave this morning to finish off my small run with the Game Changer. The Astra held up fairly decently as well, plateauing in performance for the last few days into a comfortable spot. Finished up with the spicy, clove, almost bay rum-ish powerhouse of TF TV!
Half the day today will be spent at the EOL facility and the other half out n about at home visits. Weather is partly cloudy and will hit low 70s…should be a decent day!
Grabbed the new DLC for the Cyberpunk game. It’s gonna take a while to figure out all the changes that have happened. While it’s getting good reports, it seems that they changed quite a bit as far as building your character stats. The way I was going previously may not work anymore, so have to rethink it.

Great hair trim, clean up, and shave between laundry loads. I did not miss doing chores while away…that’s fo sho. Back to the Tedalus to get me on my way to 850. Some very fine scent indeed to wrap things up.
More laundry waiting its turn. But nothing else really pressing that needs to be done.

Up for church! Making some coffee, grabbing some donuts and then gluten free muffins from Trader Joe’s…then we’re on our way.
Fairly good shave this morning until the last pass. Pushed a bit too much on the mustache area so there’s some irritation. Finished up with Rochas’ boozy vanilla!
Grocery chores today, but after that, who knows?!

Mondays are cardiac rehab now. This morning one of the exercise physiologists asked me which of two exercises was easiest for me: arms or legs? Alarms went off, as I immediately sensed a trick question. However, it would have been foolish to deceive her, so I answered truthfully. When I got on the leg machine, sure enough, she cranked up the resistance to 80%, a noticeable difference for me. Happy freakin' Monday to you, too!

The missus and I are heading out to LA later for a date night, to see a show/performance from the TwoSet Violin duo. Corny jokes but amazing musicians. Should be interesting!
