Gear: Feather AC folding SS, Feather Pro blade, Colonial “Armored” General, Feather Pro blade, RR Big Bruce synth brush, CBL Steel Grey Fougere soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Barbasol Pacific Rush AS, and Prada Luna Rossa Ocean to finish!
A bit groggy this morning but I’m up n at em!
Great shave, not a whole lot too report though. Prada Ocean is a nice creamy aquatic to top thing off.
Wife’s office party this evening. Ugh…social events
hopefully there’ll at least be some decent food and drinks!

Gear: Feather AC folding SS, Feather Pro blade, Colonial “Armored” General, Feather Pro blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ pony synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and D&G The One to finish!
Bit of a groggy morning again. Office party ended up being pretty decent…open from which I got a well made Old Fashioned and a few food/dessert stations with plenty of goodies like BBQ pork belly with pickled veggies on one of those Asian steamed buns.
Arm is moderately sore because before the party I got my COVID booster. I did the mix-n-match where my regular doses had been Moderna, I went Pfizer for the booster. No adverse reactions yet otherwise. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Good Proraso Red shave though, topped off by D&G The One’s creamy, sweetness. Not too shabby!

I was pretty surprised at my lack of reaction so far. My second vaccine shot took me out for a day or two. So far with the booster, it’s just been a sore arm and a slight bit of weakness/light headedness.
It was good…macerated orange peel, Maker’s Mark, unidentified bitters, a heap o ice, and even a Luxardo Cherry!
It’s true, I’m usually a one drink dude…but that’s not quite what happened there

This Saturday schedule seems to be pretty standard lately…up for a work out, out for coffee and a bite, but if extra walking around downtown to pick up Christmas gifts, then back home for chores.
Decent shave today while waiting for some laundry to wash. Fudged up the lather a bit by overly wet brush and not loading long enough…hard water doesn’t do my nat hair brushes any favors when it comes to performance; guess that’s why the 3 I have rarely see any action these days. Great scents though, topping off with the
modern barbershop, vintage YSL Rive Gauche!
Did spend some time last night cleaning off and conditioning my SeaVees leather desert boots. This is the second time do it since I’ve gotten them. Hard to tell if I’m doing it right. Probably not…but at least I don’t think I’ve destroyed them as they come out half decent lol.
Heard about the devastation in KY and dropped a line to our fav KY guy and he’s all good as he’s in the southern end I guess. Good news.

Last night went to a local Christmas annual parade on one of the downtown strips. Tonight is out to the harbor to observe the annual Christmas boat parade/sail!
