No meetings this morning (thank goodness!) so I can finally go out and get some real coffee…not the watered down, drink it because there’s nothing else, office coffee! We’ve got two favorite places so far, if you’re ever in the area - Handlebar Coffee (specifically the De La Vina site) and Low Pigeon. Both great local roasters/cafes.

Not looking forward to all the driving this weekend but tomorrow we’ll be off up north a bit to the hometown (aka 5.5 hour drive). My grandpop is celebrating his 100th on Sunday and most of that side of the family will be there (who I haven’t seen in years). My dad thinks it may be he last…guess we’ll see!

Any type of pour over where grounds are steeped vs "jetted" through like a Keurig is going to result in a much tastier cup of coffee. I subscribe to the "inverted Aeropress" method specifically, but my Clever dripper gets used 9 times out of 10 over the Aeropress for simplicity of use.
