Well, I’m in the deep end now! Work yesterday started with a delayed bang. Now that I’ve had my orientation mostly finished, the plan had been for me to be assigned a team and only take some new, incoming clients…and that’s the way it went…for about an hour. Then one of the head nurses (day-to-day boss) changed the plan and gave me a list of about 15 patients, new and old. So I’m off an running now. Engage Furious Dog Paddle motors!

Not the best nights rest. Too stressed out about the team meeting today and second guessing my notes. It’s like those high school Freshman nightmares all over again 😂

Had some really nice visits with patients and families yesterday. Caught up on making contact with everyone for the moment. Now to start scheduling more visits. I’ve got a fairly scattered area of coverage unfortunately.

Great shower n shave to get my day kick started at least!

Funny, I was just looking at the Henson Medium, how do you like it overall? It's actually available on our half of the planet.

I guess the upside to having scattered clients is the beautiful scenery, and the downside is all the traffic.

I enjoy using it now and then. It’s a good, mild shaver that still can surprise with a BBS. For you though I’m not sure if you’d enjoy it. Hard to explain. I’d say the shave result is slightly better than a Tech but feels more mild usually except right where the blade touches the skin…that point feels a little rough. The angle can be intuitive (the cutting sides are pretty much flat angled) but sometimes if I zone out I lose the angle really quickly because of the mildness.

Pretty good day yesterday after the stress of the IDT passed. The boss said I did good…so I’ll take that!

Its going to be a long weekend through Wednesday, responsibility-wise, for me. The missus is off tomorrow afternoon on a trip to take a challenge exam for school, to a cousin’s bachelorette weekend, and then to Washington for her Master’s degree school orientation. I guess it’ll be a long weekend for her too 😂

Better boot up the solo-dad program! 😵

Ahhhh Friday! It’s been a good week but I’m ready for (hopefully!) a sleep-in day.

Great shave to start the day. I’ll be swapping out the Henson for something else starting tomorrow, not sure what yet though. CF Sherlock is a great scent 😎👍

Solo parenting begins later this evening. Pray for my children 🙏😂
