Shave #66 (457 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: RR GC .68 SB, Astra SP blade, Paladin Harlequin Chief 26mm brush, Zingari Soloist soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, LNHC Barber Shoppe post shave elixir, and Encre Noire to finish!

Little bit of extra sleep but still up in time to get ready and out the door for services.

Great shave with a rich, spiced up scent combo. So good!

Service went smoothly. Today we finally got back into our Modern worship space after nearly a year. We’re now doing that, a Classic service, streaming both to outside seating, and streaming online for anyone at home. It’s quite a feat but it’s been working OK so far!

Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, CBL Money tonsorial soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Barbasol Pacific Rush AS, and D&G Light Blue to finish!

Back to the grind! Not quite sure what’s going to be goin on this week.

Back to the faux 3017 as well with CBL Money tonsorial. Great shave, fresh scents, ready to start the day...right after this cup of coffee!

A bit groggy this morning. Probably the 3 day weekend I had throwing me off.

Shave: Great! ✅
Smell: Great! ✅
Nothing new to report: ✅

Bible study group this evening. Might be the last night we meet over Zoom since we’ve been provisionally approved to meet back on campus if we like. We’ll see!

Shave #69 (457 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, RR Big Bruce synth brush, CBL Money tonsorial soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, vintage Avon Spicy AS, and V&R Spicebomb Nightvision to finish!

Tried taking some melatonin gummies last night. Seems like it might have helped a tad with my nighttime wake up stuff. Hard to tell. More testing required!

Great shave this morning. Reached for the vintage Spicy. Interesting pair with the Spicebomb but not all that off the mark I think.

Getting a nice downpour of rain from yesterday evening through today. Inconvenient in the short term but greatly needed in the long!
