Nice shave today. Tried not to chase as my mustache area was still a bit tender. Worlds better shave over yesterday’s fiasco though. What a difference a blade makes!
Not much major happening today, just a lot of little things.
I do have to go in tomorrow to clean up the church campus a bit for services that will be continuing for the time being. I don’t think I’ll be doing any pressure washing though. Just gonna stick to the basics.

Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, Stirling 2-band synth brush, Stirling Hipster, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, and Hipster AS to finish!
Corona Virus Official Day 118:
A little bit later of a shift today, which meant a little extra time to sleep and a leisurely shave.
Stirling just has a solid soap base with no fuss lathering and great, strong scenting. A short load goes a long way! Still haven’t brought the Feather back out...I just keep reaching for the easy button
Gonna be a hot day, but most of my tasks should at least be indoors I think.
Yesterday I ended up taking a big step and writing a slightly lengthy email asking the MS pastor, since nothing has seemingly moved forward for either of us within the last year, to re-entertain the idea of having me fill the role. No response yet, not that I expected anything immediate, but still sweating bullets.
Here’s hoping for a great Saturday otherwise y’all!

Man...is it Sunday today? Not sure what was up, but we woke up later than normal this morning. Almost missed the live broadcast of service (it’s recorded, but we like to make it at the actual time), but thankfully we juuuust made it.
Nice shower n shave this morning though. Been a while since I used my YSL Ultime sample, so I geared things towards that. Lather was a little light between the Paladin and Aquatic Oud, not sure why...I loaded pretty long
. Thankfully the slickness was there at least!
A couple chores to knock out today. Otherwise it’s just a day to stay inside. Yesterday ended up reaching about 105 and today will be similar.

Nice shaves. The MS thing will work itself out and you will be where you are needed. But that doesn’t mean stop looking to find that place.
Should be hot and humid here, so outside chores to a minimum. But I need to mow today once the hottest part of the day is behind us.

I’m up...I’m up.
Thank goodness for morning shaves to get the blood pumping a bit and freshen up some! Nice one today as I went for a sandalwood-barbershop theme. Meant to load up the GC .68 last night but forgot and didn’t think fumbling with a blade while being bleary eyed was a good idea, so fell back to the Schick M again. Looks like the Twin blade in this thing needs replacing too soon...I think it’s been in here since the beginning of the year lol. Still managed a BBS though, just took a little extra cleanup. Santal Royale is a totally different take on sandalwood than Proraso Red, but they do compliment each other well enough.
Off to work now, after I finish my iced coffee. Should be just another day of power washing I’m afraid. Service attendance was small, so there really won’t be much to clean up after.
Mid 90s projected today and most of the week. Last week really baked my property’s greenery. I hope it recovers. Still on just a “once” a week watering schedule.

Thank goodness for morning shaves to get the blood pumping a bit and freshen up some! Nice one today as I went for a sandalwood-barbershop theme. Meant to load up the GC .68 last night but forgot and didn’t think fumbling with a blade while being bleary eyed was a good idea, so fell back to the Schick M again. Looks like the Twin blade in this thing needs replacing too soon...I think it’s been in here since the beginning of the year lol. Still managed a BBS though, just took a little extra cleanup.
