Just gobbling you’re the last of my coffee and slice of lemon-blueberry loaf before heading out the door.

Great shower n shave this morning. Trimmed up the hair last night.

Corona Virus Official Day 115:

No work today, so I just kinda woke up naturally about 9:30. Sore from the last couple days of pressure washing, but bit the bullet anyway and knocked out a couple hours of yard work.

The heavy grass allergens in combination with the heat and sweat today lit my arms and chest/neck up with some redness and itching, so I took a cooling shower before queuing up the shave. Felt like a good day for Proraso Green. I even used the balm, which is not at all heavy and actually absorbs pretty well. I do regret not getting the Green splash to try though. Anyway, whipped up a great, slick, cooling lather and went to work on the whiskers. Kept it a cool water shave too. Great shave.

Zoom meetings later.

I hear ya. I woke up with the allergy feelings and took something instead of just dealing with it. Don't need it to progress into sneezing or coughing these days. You should stay inside and play video games to recover.
 
Sac seems to be horrible for allergies.

That Jaipur sounds really nice, never heard of it and did some reading on Fragrantica.

Where'd you score it?

Yea this spring/summer season has been bad bad. If I didn’t have all the pills and nasal sprays I do at the moment, I’d be unable to set foot out of the house.

A lot of the Central Valley and Southern California are...it’s just dry and dusty. I feel like it’s progressively gotten worse over the years.

The Jaipur I got as a sample from Mr CBL. A niche thing that I probably never would have discovered or thought to pick up myself. It’s intense freshness, almost forced...like fresh breeze dry sheet times 20. It does smell slightly synthetic at first but it wears really well and lasts a good portion of the day. I like it!

Elite: Dangerous. It's the most expansive, vast video game world I've ever seen. I'm a bit of a weenie. The big bucks are in bounty hunting or being a space ship soldier of fortune. I'm making money mining and being a data courier between star systems. My reflexes aren't quick enough to hold my own in a battle with 14 year olds. I'm saving up to buy a ship capable of carrying persons, so I can make money as a human transport. You can also make money exploring the galaxy and charting new systems, but my current ship doesn't have the range to get that far out in the galaxy. I'm just glad this game wasn't around back when I was spending hour upon hour on my Sega Genesis. I exercise a bit more self control now, and with the exception of this morning, I'll play for an hour or so before bed.

Corona Virus Official Day 116:

Another wake up as you feel like morning!

I was reminded by Ben’s shave yesterday that I have a very small potion left of the precious, original CBL ROS batch in my soap drawer. I knew when I saw it that I wanted that to be the star today! Sadly it was the blade that put a damper on the shave. I keep using the Supply (what I assume to be Personna) blades once in a while, hoping the shaves improve...they just never do. Even with the perfect ROS lather and notable mildness of the Schick L, I had massive irritation and a ton of micro-cuts along the mustache line...bad enough that I had to use alum for the first time in months. HOOOOOOOOoooooo that initial alum sting was painful! Gonna have to take it easy on tomorrow’s shave for sure.

Life plods on in all its weirdness. I do have a meeting with a young man later, just to talk and get to know each other. He’s been wanting some people to mentor/pour into him, spiritually and who are a little farther along in life, and my name came up. It’ll be interesting to see where this goes.
