Gear: Weck Med Prep shavette, Personna HS blade, RR GC .68 SB, Sputnik blade, RR Big Bruce brush, CBL SIR Fougere tonsorial soap, generic witch hazel, Thayer’s Medicated, Pitralon Classic AS, and Pierre Cardin clone oil to finish!

It’s Friday! Woohoo!
Nice morning. Ran out for one errand, to save my family from the brink of lack-of-TP destruction. Timed it just well enough, we’ve now got enough for another week or two.
Decent shave this afternoon. The Weck pinged a couple follicles, but they closed up pretty quickly. The Sputnik is performing much better than the Shark for smoothness, but is still not ideal. The Pierre Cardin clone goes pretty well with the Pitralon, to give my overall scent some depth, but it’s (at least to me) dried down to nearly a skin scent fairly quickly. I’m OK with that though because it’s leathery, but fairly powdery too.
One work Zoom meeting soon to go over some reopening ideas on the custodial side of the conversation. Other than that, should be a chill holiday weekend I’m hoping. Just not looking forward to the increased temps coming down the line.

Corona Virus Official Day 69:
Nice day, though getting warm.
Kids have finished their chores already and are on to their screen time. Missus has a couple errands out to run. I’m doing some lawn watering and laundry while watching The Man In Highcastle series.
Great shave this morning, inspired by @BarberDave ‘s video and my Guerlain discussion with @Somnos. 3 pretty darn good passes with the GC .68. 1st Anniversary badger only shed a couple hairs today but made a great lather. SV 70th and Guerlain Vetiver combo FTW!
Other than service tomorrow, we’ve got pretty much zero plans for the long weekend. Just the way I like it!
There’s movement in CA to advance the reopening process to the next phase. A lot of vocal persons are antsy for full reopening, but out of respect for others and ourselves, our family and also our church are erring on the side of caution and the health professionals, continuing to limit outings, adhere to health advisories, and take things very slowly.
