If you have to do something...

If it helps anybody, it is unseasonably cool here in my corner of Texas. I think we've only hit the 90's a handful of times so far. Fake Spring is just about over, Summer Part 1 should start soon, followed by Summer 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Nice Breakin' reference!

Shave #148 (413 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: Blackland Vector, Feather Pro blade, RR Big Bruce synth brush, CBL SIR Fougere tonsorial soap, generic witch hazel, Thayer’s Medicated, Mandom AS, and Annie Oakley Stampede to finish!

Corona Virus Official Day 73:

Date morning! Iced coffee and an oversized cinnamon roll for breakfast.

Got the kids moving on classwork and did my shave. Nice, fresh, fougered scents today. Reopened a nick from yesterday, otherwise a great 3-passer.

Normal Wednesday night Zoom calls this evening. Our house is being inundated with deliveries for graduation congratulations packages for exiting college seniors from the congregation; most are put together already, some still need to be.

Tomorrow should be the last day of 100 plus degree weather for a little while. Still, it’s going to hover in the 80s and 90s. The kids have been enjoying playing in the sprinkler a little bit each afternoon of the heat wave.

Have a great Wednesday all!

Where can one find such clone oils? Pen’s has been on my radar for years, but the mediocre to lukewarm reviews on the frag sites, combined with their relatively high costs, have prohibited me from blind buying. 🤷‍♂️
I hear ya on that! @CBLindsay is the supplier of such magical items for me.

There isn’t a Penhaligon scent in the world that isn’t impressive, Sartorial is truly worth having. Sure, there are a few Pen’s scents that are more of an aquired taste but I don’t think Sartorial is out there. I have sampled several clone oils and found them each be different in a variety of ways, some of them very much different but all smell good.

Shave #149 (413 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: Blackland Vector, Feather Pro blade, Sorrentino TSC 1st Anniversary badger brush, CBL Grassroots Lavender soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Skin Bracer AS, and Royall Rugby to finish!

Corona Virus Official Day 74:

Shaved way earlier, but just now getting to the entry.

Nice shave, no hill playing damage as a certain Major would say. Lather was a little frothy today, probably should have loaded a bit longer with the badger. No real harm down though.

Rugby is a great scent!

Helping the kids begin to wrap things up for assignments for the week. Having them go back to change and fix things they’ve “finished” is the pits. It’s like pulling teeth every day! I’ll be glad when the school year is over (probably not, because then I’ll have to listen to “I’m bored”...but I’ll worry about that when it comes :ROFLMAO: ).

These last few days, with the state/county testing the waters on provisionally allowing limited religious group activities, emotions and disagreements have kicked into high gear again within my social circles. It’s sad and frustrating to see, but they’re conversations that must be had. Better sooner than later! We need to get things hammered out!

Happy Thursday all!
