Man ... sounds like a good time!
Sounds like a lot of fun. Maybe you should go help shmooze those vendors and try to get some free samples! lol
Good time indeed!

You’d not believe the free stuff my wife and kids get for her being the vendor contact. Shirts, sweets, toys, dresses...needless to say she enjoys it lol.

Nice video Chris and Crew !!
Thanks for watching Dave!
T-shirts and toys??? That’s pretty awesome! I was thinking more along the lines of free snacks from food vendors 😂😂😂
Great video and awesome job by your shave assistant! One thing I don't understand though...kids make Mario now, they don’t just play it?
Thanks Steve! They get plenty of yummy snacks too, for sure!

As for the Mario Maker, it’s like the old school, side scrolling Mario, but you can construct and play your own levels. You can also share your levels with other folks who have the game. Regular Mario is still out there, but it’s mostly 3D now.

Great video. I loved how your son was helping you by rubbing his face on the spots you were shaving (y)
Hah! Yea, my wife noticed that when she watched through, that was too funny. I didn’t notice it at the time we were doing it.
Great ensemble shave action!
Thanks Rich!
I was thinking the same thing.....like it was itching him 😂
I think part of it was itchiness from allergies, but you’re probably right that it was partially from watch me too. Monkey see monkey do right? :ROFLMAO:

Nice, fresh shave today.

Great day hanging out yesterday with the family; though it is always difficult keeping ground rules in place when so many non-normal routine things are coming along. So, beyond trying to reign that in, it was a good day.

Slept a little late this morning. Had my shower n shave. Off to work in about an hour. Temps are going to be high 90s/low 100s this week unfortunately. That’ll be pretty miserable for me. Definitely looking forward to the family reunion this weekend and heading to Santa Cruz next week!

Happy Tuesday all!

Off to work soon, early day, and a scorcher!

I always set the alarm so that I have plenty of time to get up, mill around a bit, get my shave, and have at least a little bit of a morning before heading out. Today I did that, but when I woke up I was just not able to shake the groggy feeling, so I snoozed a bit longer.

Shave has been really good the last couple of days. I seem to be finding the sweet spot with the Schick for myself, ending up with really nice final passes and clean up.

Either today or tomorrow, hopefully today, I should be hearing back about whether I get to the next stage of the interview process for my church’s Jr High position. I caught the search committee’s informal “head” person last night as he was headed out from a different meeting. I’ll be honest, I’m reserving full judgement, but the intonation of his voice did not sound positive when he said he was wanting to update me, now that they’d finished initial interviews at the beginning of the week. It might have just been awkward timing as to when I caught him; we’ll see I guess.

Have a great Wednesday all!

Shave #204 (327 Open Blade Shaves) of 2019:

Gear: Feather AC SS shavette, Feather blade, Schick M Adjustable, Schick blade, RR Big Bruce brush, Proraso Red soap, generic witch hazel, Thayer’s Medicated, Osage Rub, and Proraso Red AS to finish!

Nice cooling sandalwood shave today...the scents don’t really mix that well, but it sure feels nice!

Had to do the deed and cut myself on purpose to decapitate a couple pimples that finally broke skin this morning. I’ve learned to become more strategic about those, otherwise if you just do your normal passes, those areas get jacked up pretty good. So what I do is avoid the area until my final pass, then just a couple ATG strokes with my sharper razor takes care of it, usually pretty cleanly too. Darn puberty  :p

Off to work soon! At some point this afternoon I have that sit down with the Jr High search team head. Still was vague about what it will be about...hoping for the best!

Have a great Thursday all!
