Shave #97 (273 Open Blade Shaves) of 2019:
Gear: Supply Injector (1-dot mild plate), Supply blade, RR Big Bruce synth brush, Scheermonnik Delfts Wit soap, generic witch hazel, and Myrsol Formula C AS to finish!
Luckily I took care of trying the Supply 3-dot plate earlier in the week, cause I needed a mild shave today; my face is quite raw from the mass slayings of tissue yesterday. Sleep was rough and still quite under the weather today.
Shave went well though. I didn’t do but a little bit of cleanup under the chin. The plate is definitely the mildest of the 3, felt near Tech level mildness most of the shave, the blade clips are quite noticeable (felt on the face) on this one, but still smooth. I’m probably low BBS, mostly BBS/DFS border today. I’m OK with that!
The smoky, berry scent of the Delfts Wit was welcome today, as was the violet candy goodness of the Myrsol. The soap did burn my chapped areas a bit. Overall a nice shave though. Once the witch hazel and Myrsol absorbed, they actually calmed my skin a little.
Been keeping up on my allergy tablets and popping DayQuil/NyQuil tabs to remain functional since yesterday morning, otherwise I’d be completely debilitated. Can’t call in to work either since we are down a person, one of the part timers off to do something different.
I did get a nice little raise notice yesterday. Not much in the scheme of things, but it’s nice to be recognized that way.
Have a great Thursday all!
