Help a Guy out- What scent do wish you could find in soap/cream form?

I believe i saw a post on Facebook or Twitter That LNHC has Nag Champa and Cannabis flower scented bath soap or some sort of soap

A lot of people dropped Dragon's Blood because too many users had reactions to it like skin burning or tingling.

Duh, hello - skin tingling is what makes Dragon's Blood great. Kind of like saying you don't like menthol because your face feels tingling and numb afterwards. ;-)

Wait...what is this skin tingling thing you speak of? Seriously though...I have never tried a Dragon's Blood sc ented soap and I have never heard of a tingling sensation associated with it. Is this from something specific?

Any one surprised that it’s DON that knows this?

I'm not...

I honestly find some of the answers suprising. I thought only a woman would want to shave with chocolate or delicate fruity florals. You learn something new everyday.

I haven't sniffed a chocolate I enjoyed. But I do enjoy some fruity florals. As long as they are more subtle. I also don't usually require a matching aftershave with them. But a nice fresh smell in the morning is nice. Just can't be over-perfumey if that makes sense.

I had some ramblings about this in my video today.... but here’s my latest thought.

Im not a huge fan of scents that have like twelve different things in them, the stuff I like always gets lost, and there’s no way to tell what it’s like by reading the scent notes. I like things simple. Like two notes, and that’s it.

That said, lime is amazing, and I think there should be more lime pairings. Lime coconut is good, MW’s Lavender Lime is amazing. And EJ’s Lime Pomegranate is to die for.

Id love some more lime pairings, and off the top of my head, lime Sandalwood sounds interesting....

So what scent is the official scent of the shaving cadre?
\nFunny you should bring that up...\nWe were all in on a nice stout banana but apparently banana scents lack a peel here at the cadre. Then we thought about Sandalwood, but Don seems a little too obsessed with it. Lime was mentioned as were a few other notes. We shall see.

i look forward to hearing what you had to say in your vlog. I can appreciate when a complex mixture of scents forms into ONE magical scent, when a scent can evolve through the day that is kind of neat too. Scents like ghost town barber that are described as being a little of this and a little of that all come across as one mashup of scents, I simply can’t detect them individually. I’m sure with some practice and exposure I could do better at this but I really don’t care to. Generally speaking I like singular notes or 2-3 note pairings.

The outlier here are novelty scented products. It is rare that I find a mix of novelty notes coming together as one magical moment that is greater than the sum of its parts. Usually one scent is dominant and the others do little to add to it. I assume this is because they are artificially created and aren’t meant to play together.

I see what you did there.

Hey, look...I'm willing to compromise...how about Banana Sandalwood?

If someday someone is able to recreate the Original Old Spice in a cologne with the silage and duration it had I would be all over it. But I am stuck in the '40's. That probably ain't gonna happen. I would punch it with a little more menthol though. I may experiment with some family spice to see how that works.

I reserve all judgement on a banana scented soap until I smell it. But let's face it, anything that comes from CBL will be great.
