Don't know if there are any Grooming Dept soap fans here but, if you are and you've been waiting for the longest for some tallow or vegan goodness, there will be a release this Sunday, the 28th @11am pacific. Mo over at GD made the announcement earlier today. If you happen to miss it, there will be soaps available over at WCS later in the week.

Never considered ordering another GD soap as the feeding frenzy for acquiring one is like the Paparazzi chasing down the Royal couple after a stay in the French Riviera. Always gone within the first 10-15 minutes. I don’t have a fixation for making it a must have but, I still do recognize that it’s still perhaps the best artisan soap available to date. I had decided to wait for the release of the pre-shave cream that will soon be available. I just happened to check up GD’s site as it was announced that another restock would be happening today and see if an announcement was pending concerning the pre-shaves. Lo and behold, soaps were still available! I said to meself, what? Perhaps consumers are a bit apprehensive in putting an order in with all the stuff that has been going on? Is there a GD boycott happening in the wet shaving world? I don’t know but, I’m a sucker for good soap. So, I grabbed 2 tubs, checked out without an issue, got my confirmation that the order was placed and continued on eating my wings and chugged down a nice pint of Guinness. That easy, for real.

“Bartender, another Guinness but, with a twist. Make it a Black Velvet.” Time to sit back and enjoy this one.....

Problem lately is people are tired of ordering and getting false shipment notices that keep getting delayed. Happening every time he has a release, the same problems. Probably has people gun shy or just tired of the excuses even if it does get to you eventually. Too many awesome artisans that you can order and have at your door in days or at least when they say it will be there. I passed when saw some still available and sure others are as well. Let us know how you like them when they arrive.
 
I’m not sure it this release was announce like the last one. If it was, I missed it. Thanks for the heads up. I got a couple enroute.

LOL!!!! The Best About Face Ever!!! That’s the wet shaving part of the cranium that took over brother. You know, the part that controls all the acquisition disorders. It just flat out broke down.......

No, no Angel partner. And that one is a true gem. I use that one sparingly to be honest. A very good soap, light yet very protective with a nice creamy composition. Superb really. Scent is pretty darn good too.....

I didn't like it as much as his beef tallow bases, but I know KJ did, at least the scent!

Put me in the minority I owned two tubs and while good they didn't wow me. So I moved em.

My shipment was painless I didn't encounter any of the problems that others have recently.
