VIP Groundhog Day shave. Except for the brush. The AP Shave Co. cashmere took that job. Same results as yesterday. Smooth comfortable shave that makes me feel skippy.

You don't scare me, my mom tried that on me when I was little made me get out of the car and thought she'd drive around the block and come back and get me. The plan was foiled when I cut through a field as a shortcut and almost got home before her. Found $10 along the way and she was apologizing to me when I got there LOL

Ok, made it through my Monday. No problems to report. Almost did another VIP shave today. But then @NurseDave 's comment rattled around in my head. About the Gold Dollar's ability to give me a good shave as well.
So I broke the cycle of awesome shaves and "settled" for a lesser variation of awesome. I may be getting close to not using the Trinity anymore. I just love the scent. But the irritation is a bummer. I have put it (Trinity) heavy rotation. For you guys that aren't DJ's. Like @MarkB , or Scratch 'N' Sniff (AKA) @NurseDave or @BarberDave . That means frequent use on the play/shave list. Think Candle in the wind back when Princess Diana died. It's basically causing post shave irritation/burn. And I am no longer willing to put up with sub par shaves.
So with a Chi-Comm razor. With an edge put on by someone that was classically trained by the ghosts of Japanese monks. In the art of the "Shogun Edge" TM Copyright. Stropped on fine Red Latigo leather. My steel wool whiskers were removed effortlessly. It was a satisfying shave. But not skippy. Maybe it's a placebo effect of a shiny/fancy/NOS blade. The GD can and does shave well. But for me the lack of audible feedback. Since it's half hollow will always be a drawback. Also todays shave did convince me to "customize it" by loosing the round point. So off to the grinder tomorrow. That ought to be fun.
