Fluffy's Curmudgeon Corner

Good day today here in my little corner of the world. Cleaned up the Ducati a little. And took it for a spin. Got a call from a co-worker at my job. About a possible side gig for 2 Benjamin's.
Went for short ride. After that made a trek out to the post office. And sent out some "must have" soaps to @NurseDave and @Patelliott . Looking forward to hearing their thoughts on them.
Tabac and Cella 1kg. In the renaissance that we enjoy in shave soaps. They may seem unlikely to be anyone's No. 1 But have been around as long as they have for a reason. Lets see if I can be a mass produced soap enabler. @BarberDave and @Dave in KY have the other side of the "force" pretty well taken care of. ;)
And had a nice shave with some quality hard and software.
Filli's never disappoint. Neither do Chris's Tonsorial soaps. 1508.5 continues. And Proraso Green finished off a nice shave.B919C181-443B-46A5-A09B-C6E6B13A7615.jpegAF959E27-7302-4051-BE0A-1DB89EA95B57.jpeg
Bandit trying to look Regal.

Hae Tabac already soap, AS, EdC, Cella I used to have , but my face reacts to it unfortunately but I love them both

Yea Dave it seems the Cella can irritate some people. And the Tabac scent has been described as polarizing. Have not observed many comments about negative performance of either.

FJ are fun bikes. You can push them pretty hard. Firm up the suspension and new front brake lines and pads.

We had a a retired BCPD officer that happened to be at the place we met up for coffe one morning. He asked if he could tag along. He had a FJ1300. We said sure. Half way on our loop we stop at a boat launch area next to peach bottom nuke power plant. On the West Bank of the Susquehanna River. He said “You guys have got me in deep s*%t. My wife just saw my Garmin stats”. She saw that he got over a 90mph multiple times. He told her he was in the back of the group and riding safe. But he was in the doghouse.

Best I ever did was 120 mph pulling a loaded trailer outrunning a storm of horrendous proportions but it was a straight shot on I-40 towards Nashville, TN. Pulled into the hotel and was checking in when the room cleaning lady came in and asked if I came in on that, pointing to the bike under their entrance. I confirmed and she said the news says they got tractor trailers getting blown over on the interstate................................I confirmed that as well.......

Didn't post up last nights quickie one pass shave. Even with that was still 30 min late to the zoom call. Great chatting with the guys and gals. Wish it was in person. But this will have to do.
Many great topics touched on. And little old me was able to be the news breaker that Clubman had 3 new reserve aftershaves. Which forced @Cvargo to promptly place an order.
And the biggest revelation was that the second biggest passion shared amongst the group. Is FOOD. At times it was like a episode of the food network.
Favorite types, recipes, displays of hot sauce, peanut butter. And the confirmation that there is in fact a "Kitchen Goddess" that chooses to live in the Denver area of our great nation.
Mucho Grande Caliente Fun. What will happen the next time. Who knows?
