6 days into my 3016-1/2. I have one more shave worth of soap left.
Rotating through my razors.

Love my Japanese razors.

AP Cashmere brush.

Using @NurseDave soap technique resulted in mucho lather.

I have yet to find a bad example Dave. Of course I was picky. And in the condition they were. Paid fair market. They are worth it in my opinion. If you want PM me for the couple sellers I have bought from over the years with many NOS examples always listed.

If you're gonna 3017, just do it. One day at a time. Don't worry about your massive stockpile of soaps (like me), just enjoy each days shave. If you occasionally stray and use another soap, no worries. I do that every now and then.

Off centered was getting me but I still can't get past the running a screw in it Ken. Why not silicone a tiny flat earth magnet to it, magnetic tape or something similar? Sorry but Gear started it.....

I did the magnet glue thing to the Razorock. But the plastic handled ones I just use a screw. I don't have expensive brushes. So they don't get special treatment. When I make my brush handle over my dads I plan to hide a magnet inside when I glue up the blank. Haven't decided on how I am going to pattern the wood. Was thinking criss cross triangles stacked. Something different.
That plan will prolly change a few times before I get a chance to start. I soooo want to start my shelf I designed for my straights. Going through a cigar box to pic a razor is very low rent.
Corona virus is pissing me off. Can't go to my folks to wood work. Can't go to library to use the 3D printer. Bah Humbug.

I absolutely know you were joking. I like to be precise, usually. But then get impatient. If I was doing it for someone else then I would be very particular. I am less so for my consumption.
