Fluffy's Curmudgeon Corner

Might have gotten a fun piece of wood for a brush or two. View attachment 22397
This is gonna be a crap shoot. The “knotty”
Part may or may not be rotten. It’s cherry, will have to let it dry out slowly. View attachment 22398
Thanks for the second picture...I was thinking you’d just plopped a nice, interesting looking turd on your steering wheel

Nice lookin piece indeed!

Are you starting to feel the fatigue from the 3016½ yet?
Well Pat. I think I have a fair amount of intestinal fortitude. Also by having the options of changing up razors, brushes and aftershaves. I am able to distract myself from the severe challenges of attempting such a grueling enterprise.
For a wet shaver this "Kobayashi Maru". Calls for thinking outside the box.
Fluffy.

I am confident that she is getting the best treatment and will have a good outcome.
Hoping and praying for the best for your mom, Ken. The best advice I was given before starting chemo was to simply "roll with it", meaning accept that it is going to take hold of your body and do its business, and to sleep when tired, and take those anti-nausea meds before feeling queasy. Chemo is a marathon: physical and psychological pacing is key. Godspeed.
