God isn't supposed to give you more than you can handle. But he is giving me some kind of test here lately.
I think of this often as a poorly worded saying. I prefer to say - God won’t give you more than you can handle with His help. ;)

Hang in there brother!

Thanks for the correction Chris.
While I'm not a active member in any church. I do try and live by the golden rule. I do believe in God. Have tried to enlighten myself about the different religions.
The last two years. I have done a side job of security at a Synagogue near DC. The congregation has been really great. And I have grown quite fond of the time I have been fortunate enough to be with them. They are from all over the world and walks of life. And appreciate myself and my guys being there.
With a few members I have spent lots of time talking about the similarities and differences in the Jewish faith. And the two branches I am most familiar with, Roman Catholic and Methodist.
At a minimum it has helped reinforce in my mind The positive effects that result in having a faith and set of core beliefs to live by.

@Dave in KY You left out the second half of that saying Dave.
Busier than a 1 Armed paper hanger with a case of the "Crabs"

Ok so I can update you guys.
The visit to the doctors with the wife. Went well. Got her huge soft cast off. And the stiches out. She has a walking brace/boot. And can now start putting weight on it. She can get around ok now.
Using just one crutch. And being careful. On the Bandit front. Couldn't get a vet appointment till tomorrow. So we are making due for now. He is able to get up with help. Eating, drinking and doing his business as normal. All good signs.
The wife has ordered a assist harness for him. So we can put that on him and then gently/easily help him up to his feet. The ramp is working well both for him and the wife.
So yea I am feeling a little less stressed than before. I appreciate all the well wishes from you all. Sometimes It just helps knowing that you are not going through this kind of stuff alone.
We have family and friends looking out for us too. But every little bit helps.
Also @Bill in Oneida sent me a PM and the Strike Gold pass around is heading my way. That is another positive. My cup runneth over.;)

Morning Cadre.
Early start to my day. Have to get my stuff ready. Stage my wifes breakfast and lunch. Where it is easily accessible for her to reach. And take care of my buddy Bandit.
Vet visit went ok yesterday. But with his blood work showing one result in the high range the vet opted to try Gabapentin instead of the prevocox.. The wife says that value is high because of the Kushings disease. But the gabapentin should help as well. If he doesn't improve in a couple days we are gonna switch to the other medication. And monitor his liver values closely.
We are more concerned with his quality of life. Than the slight possibility that the best working medicine is having a long term side effect. Because of his advanced age.
If your 95 year old grandfather wants to keep chewing tobacco. Are you gonna make a big deal about it being "unhealthy" for him?
Back to work after a long break. Hope I remember everyone's names.
Hope you guys have a good day. Will check in on your guys stuff when I can.
Take it easy.
Fluffy.

Ok Cadre.
Today went as well as I could of hoped for.
Got the wife set up for her first day without her favorite caregiver.
Breakfast, coffee and lunch laid out ready to go.
Bandit walked and fed and doing ok. Still not able to get up by himself ☹️ But seems content and slightly better.
Melinda talked with another vet she knows very well and bounced some ideas around.
I feel pretty good about our game plan forward.
Work was ok and I was able to slip home quick and take him out and check on my girl.
