I prefer to think of it as an admission by them. That they could not possibly teach someone that already knows everything there is to know.

There was probably a sign just like that outside of Einstein‘s office.

Evening Cadre.
The rest of my day went well enough. Took off the rest of the week at work. To take care of the wife.
Foot surgery tomorrow to correct some issues she has been dealing with for some time now.
Tonights shave went fairly well. The Boker Our Own responded as desired to the extra session on the Arkie. While the Black Diamond that I thought just needed a light touch up. Was not quite up to my standards. It was just OK. That is unacceptable for my buddy @Dave in KY .
The soap (SV Cubebe) Is now confirmed to be a top flight soap. Soon to be in a virtual cart.
I filmed again. Another unintended consequence of letting a goof like me have access to technology and the internet. Al Gore didn't see this :poop: coming from his "Invention".

Monday is almost in the history books. Take care all.

Morning Cadre.
Up and about. Dog taken care of. Wife getting ready. Cats.... well there here and don't really care about us humans.
And thanks be to the man upstairs. Rain! We will not be uttering the word drought here in 2020.
The Dr.'s office wants us there 2 hours before the scheduled surgery.
But who wouldn't want me hanging out in their waiting room. Clean cut all American hunk of a man. Smelling good. Looking good. So I don't blame them for getting a little greedy.

Once we get home and settled in. She'll be taking pain meds and most likely sleeping. I'll put some good tunes on (low) and spend some time on the hones. Going to be finishing up Dave's razors.
Looking forward to taking that fancy Boker for test drive. My whiskers are not used to such a fancy blade. Hope they don't wind up getting too much of an ego.
"We're special. And need a special blade" Sorry fella's don't get all High Falutin. Once I am done testing, you're getting the $2.00 Robeson razor treatment. With Modern Williams Mug Soap.
Gotta keep it real.

Have a good day guys and gal. @MrsNurseDave

Update of the state of my corner.
Surgery on the Mrs.'s foot went well. She and I are home and settled in. Got her prescriptions filled.
Made her a quesadilla for dinner. Now she's debating weather to go to bed or not. Ol Fluffy's patience was tested with my patient. I love my wife. That's all I can say.
Believe you guys know the significance of that statement.
I am going to forgo my shave tonight  Just need to chill out.
Fear not I'll make a video tomorrow. Hang in there guys and gal.

Good to hear all went well with your wife. But the skipping of a shave....

Glad the surgery went well. Her job is to take pain meds to stay comfortable and get rest. I've done a lot of foot surgery in the OR and I can say it is undoubtedly a surgery that must hurt like crazy afterward. Lots of cutting/trimming/filing of bone.

@Graybeard57
Hers was to fix some recurring ganglions. Caused by a spur/bone growth. and to repair the tendon that runs down the side of the ankle to the side of the foot.
Problem is her upper body strength is not very strong and crutches are not a very good option. Everything is made worse by the fact that we have a row home.
Meaning the bedroom is upstairs. Last night was a debacle with getting her up.
I have made a device to help me lift her up each individual step. When I try to get her upstairs tonight. We'll see how my engineering skills are.
