Adoration Deluxe Razor
AP Shave Cashmere Brush
TABAC

Can’t really add any more to what I have already said about my appreciation for the excellent products in the Tabac line.
And the value and quality of Solingen razors from the early 1900’s is well documented.
In other news. I’m gonna have to be honest and say I have made my first “dud” loaf of sourdough bread. I added some Italian Seasoning to it. And it is not as enjoyable as anticipated. Tuco the sourdough starter is better than when I first began baking with him. Stronger and more productive by 30%. Sourdough starter is usable when it doubles in size in around 4 hours. Tuco now exceeds that another third.

Work week is almost half over. So we got that going for us.
Have a good day guys.

Clauss Razor
Scheermonnik Soap
Fluffy Industries Brass Badger
ManDom Aftershave

Test shave report, Clauss razor. A little background. This is Tim's MilkCrate razor. It appeared to have had the factory bevel. Which was in fact not capable of cutting hair even at skin level. On the plus side. As with any quality American made straight. The steel has a nice ring to it. The grind is top notch and it lays flat on the hone. It's centered in it's scales and is appropriately snug through it's range of motion.
I spent plenty of time through each stage of the honing process until it passed my usual visual inspection. And HHT tests. But as we all know the real test is actually putting it to use.
Now a vain person may be tempted to always report only positive results. Alas I can not in good conscious say that this razor is GTG. I did use it to complete my first pass. But used my Korrat 14 2.0 for my second pass. The shave with the Clauss was ok. But a little tuggy. With the heel being not set. It will not leave my possession until these shortcomings are remedied.
To do so would bring shame on Clan Fluffy. And possibly cause the spirits of the Shogun masters to shun me. I will revisit my slab of novaculite with the Clauss.
And report back the results.
Hope all of you are ready for Friday.

Burrel Top Flight Razor
Fluffy Industries Brass Boar Edition
LNHC Barber Shoppe Soap
Skin Bracer AS

Good shave to end the work week. The touch up on the Top Flight was performed before I tackled Tim's Clauss razor. The results of them (touch ups) are much more predictable. And really only like 10-15 mins of time spent. The Top Flight rejoined it's companions in the cigar box, back in rotation.
Tim's Clauss after a revisit to the Translucent Arkansas stone is on deck for todays shave. I expect it will be up to par. But will let you guys know.

In other news Fluffy Industries Bread Division, has only 4 loaves of bread started today for baking tomorrow. This after will be spent catching up on WSBK motorcycle racing. And trying out a new Muffin recipe. I have been using my modified Bisquick recipe for chocolate chip muffins. But want to find a bit more "moist" version. Using a basic all purpose flour batter. I'll let you guys know what I think of the new recipe.
Hope all of you are enjoying the weekend.
