That scent is a VERY hard one to describe, that's for sure. It's not exactly and "oriental" scent but my very, very first impression as the scent first hit my nose was that it is as a sort of "middle eastern/oriental" scent.
I am very happy to have had the opportunity to make this custom scent for you and that you like it as much as you seem to.
 
Nice review Josh. I didn't hear you talk much about the post shave feel. I know hat's something that you might notice more well after the shave. So I'm wondering how do you think the hemp base PSF compares to the normal base?
 
Watching video now and wondering as I have this soap but didn't know it as the cooling in it. Doesn't say "Ghost" so does it have the cooling in all or just the one he sent to you? Will need to use mine soon......like tomorrow

Dave, CBL Soap from the website, does not have the cooling agent. Josh said in his video that only his special order has the cooling agent. In Josh's "New to You" post, he said Chris sent him one normal tub, and one with the cooling agent.

Thanks Chris...the weather is moderate (mid to low 50's) during the day and dipping down to the low 20's at night. We already had a couple nights in the teens...going to be a cold winter.

Thanks again Chris...you did an awesome job on recreating the scent! The biggest difference is the clary sage in the middle notes coming out as much as they did, but it was a nice surprise! The soap is excellent, as expected!

From what I remember of the original base, it was one of the more moisturizing soaps in the den. This morning was most excellent as well...I'll have to shave with both and see if there are any noticeable differences between them.

I had Chris make one tub with the cooling V2 agent in it. The normal version for sale does not have it in there...
