Dagwoodzs Tonsorium; vlog, shaves and reviews

and tried something a little different in the post-processing RE: video quality. Of course, that meant that it took 7 hours to upload. Won't be doing that again...will be going back to SD.
I hear that! My internet out in the boonies is good, but not fast. I have a balance of quality and effort that I’ve settled on. I wish it was a little better, but it takes me 30 minutes to upload and the next step up doubles that time. I’d never get them done like that.

And I thank you sir for taking the time to make the videos for us to watch. I agree with the relaxation about the evening shaves, and again it makes me think of the two shave day. But I don't usually want the time it takes to do the whole shower routine again. Maybe I'll look into that wet towel prep just for a relaxing shave.

There’s one SV soap I haven’t used. I’m not sure why because it sounds like it’s in my wheel house. And a beautiful lather as usual.

I see the goatee has hit the teenage awkward phase. Here’s hoping you get through it quickly. ?

It’s good to see you are well. SV does indeed make wondrous products. I hope you emerge from the night shift soon and your internal clock returns to normal.

I'm in love...............no not you Josh. That razor looks right up my alley. You did seem to go over some spots over and over and over which is unusual for you?

Wow! It’s gotta be pretty good for you to gush like that! I think this is the first I’ve seen you actively pursue the grail. Glad you snagged one!

But was it to make up for lack of efficiency or just that comfortable? Not nit picking, just curious.

Not taking it as such...I was doing more buffing today and going over spots more often because the razor "feels" quite a bit different on the face. I was using the extra strokes to try and get used to it. By the end, it felt GOOD...lol.

Thanks Rich! There's every once in a while I'll pursue the BBS, but today was special...the lack of stubble and irritation is a rare thing for me. LOL

That's what I thought. From your thorough review I could feel comfortable blind buying that baby. Thanks Josh

No problem Dave...it really is a smooth operator and is seriously vying for a spot as top safety razor in the den along with the Karve and Brass General.

Your ease of shave makes me think it's mild enough for my tastes. Looked really efficient.

KJ, not to feed the hype, but once I got used to how it felt on the face, it was honestly one of the more smooth razors I've used. I would say it is a RAD killer, but...well...yeah...probably not. lol
