What's a husk? Ah, it doesn't matter, I don't like tamales anyway. The tortillas are way too tough. 🙂

We need to get you some good ones then, there is no tortillas in Tamales........... so you been duped
The first time I tried those Edamame things, no one told me you only eat the insides ... they sucked.

Whoops

I track all of our data from our states website here is some of our info

Since they consider you "healed" after 3 weeks I have been looking at what I call a 'Lagging Death Rate" which is Total deaths divided by total positives 3 weeks ago, I feel that paints a slightly better picture.

Here the number they are calling Presumptive Cases drive me nuts. They won't test you but will call you positive and add you to the active cases.
We had a young family that wasn't feeling well so they went into the doctors. They were told that they weren't going to waste 4 tests but that they were considered Probable. A few days later they felt better. They were added to the states total number.

Our health department has been very upfront. They do NOT report presumptive cases. And they have actually lowered our death count, when they identify an individual who passed away and covid wasn't leading cause.

I wish our state was as upfront. We count Presumptive cases in the actual case count. We also use the label "Died with Covid" instead of "Died due to covid". The local news usually just reports the total cases and total deaths. Which they alarmingly point out are going up. Of course it is going up, you're just adding on the running totals.

Our assumed counts are also separate but they show us the assumed numbers also which I didn't include when I posted our numbers.
Our probable were 831 probable cases and 84 probable deaths.
