Guessing these are cumulative numbers.Numbers in my state..
Positive : 102,974
Deaths : 2,144
844 new cases.Guessing these are cumulative numbers.
How are your daily rates?
I hope we don't and I pray yours goes down. I fear we are all gonna see higher numbers in the next few weeks. We had 5,433 new cases on Tuesday. Beat that!![]()
So hopefully the numbers will keep treanding down.844 new cases.
46 new deaths.
We haven't had today's numbers yet though.
We have been averaging about a 1000 cases a day and between 50 and 80 deaths a day sometimes a 100
Here the number they are calling Presumptive Cases drive me nuts. They won't test you but will call you positive and add you to the active cases.I track all of our data from our states website here is some of our info

Since they consider you "healed" after 3 weeks I have been looking at what I call a 'Lagging Death Rate" which is Total deaths divided by total positives 3 weeks ago, I feel that paints a slightly better picture.

We had a young family that wasn't feeling well so they went into the doctors. They were told that they weren't going to waste 4 tests but that they were considered Probable. A few days later they felt better. They were added to the states total number.
I wish our state was as upfront. We count Presumptive cases in the actual case count. We also use the label "Died with Covid" instead of "Died due to covid". The local news usually just reports the total cases and total deaths. Which they alarmingly point out are going up. Of course it is going up, you're just adding on the running totals. Our health department has been very upfront. They do NOT report presumptive cases. And they have actually lowered our death count, when they identify an individual who passed away and covid wasn't leading cause.
Our assumed counts are also separate but they show us the assumed numbers also which I didn't include when I posted our numbers.I wish our state was as upfront.
