Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Well I had every intention to shave today. I had the blade chosen, the soap ready to go, and had just got out of the shower. When I heard that lovely sound that parents hate... 🤮 yup Connor had tried to make it the bathroom but made it to the hallway. Then Sadie wakes up, and fever still at 100.2 so needless to say the shave did not happen. I will try again tomorrow. The household is on lockdown and quarantine until further notice.
Dude...not good! Hope the kiddies, and the parents also, start feeling better soon!

Well, at least they nearly made it through to the weekend. Hope everyone feels better soon!

Thanks guys. Kids went to doctors and they have some infection going around. Which is always interesting because the young one is allergic to penicillin so antibiotic treatments have started.

Ok I’m lost lol

Well see, that young man Chad. Well, he had himself what he fancied a goatee when this site started. He seemed to be pretty proud of it while the rest of us tried to gently point out that it probably really wouldn’t fully fill in until he finished puberty. He finally did shave that thing off when the TSC hit 100 members. Rumor is that his wife is appreciative of KY Dave’s recruiting efforts.

Ok. In my defense, I didn't really start watching videos until about a month or 2 ago when @Dave in KY called me out for not knowing what he was talking about when he referenced something he said in a video. Now I try to watch what I can. And @Cvargo the goatee wasn't as bad as they're making it out to be, but I think you're better off without it lol.

I know it wasn't that bad lol. But they like to make it worse than it was.

Razor: Timeless .69
Blade: Topaz Platinum (1)
Soap/cream: Chiseled Face Banana
Brush: Paladin PK47
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Aqua Velva Balm

Well today a shave was had, and it was not great. The blade was not a great performer at all. But the soap was fantastic! I love this scent. Reminds of indulging on a banana cream pop. The shave was rough and I opted for a balm to calm down the burning.

Kids both slept good last night and are feeling better today, but we are going to have today just be a day of rest. Crazy how fast antibiotics work when they are actually warranted. Both have a bacterial bug that was spreading rapidly. The snow hit yesterday and is supposed to be back tonight into tomorrow morning, but thankfully we are warming up on the non snow days. In fact on Wednesday enough snow melted that I was able to finally remove the Christmas decorations as they were all buried under snow. Spring is trying so hard to be here and I am so ready for it! Have a great saturday Cadre.

Glad to hear the kids are feeling better Chad. Sounds like you might also need a day of rest to recover from the bad blade today [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Had a similar experience with the Parker blade the other day...just completely uncomfortable for me. Glad to hear that the kiddos are on the mend; it's amazing how resilient they can be.
