Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

We get everything you get but liquid usually. Lots of flooding here lately but at the elevation I am at, if I am in danger, someone better be building and Ark somewhere

I am getting nervous because if we warm up quickly. I fear for flooding. I am on top of a hill though. But knowing my luck it would seep into the basement.

I am honestly concerned for the weather in the immediate future. Two years of the worse fires in California, two years of terrible winter storms. I'm fairly convinced it's not going to stop and just get worse.

Definitely concerning.

You have my attention...

Stay tuned. I'll post next week to let people prepare for March

Razor: Schick Injector
Blade: Schick (?)
Soap/cream:Martin De Candre Agrumes
Brush: Razorock Disruptor
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Chiseled Face Trade Winds

Pretty much the same shave as yesterday just switched up the soap to the MdC Agrumes. Which is an awesome scent. I also finished off the CF TW which was a fun scent. But honestly not sure i'll replace it. If I do it will be in awhile. Prepping for a bad blade shave tomorrow. But today's was great so that's good.

Well woke up to more snow. But it moved out quickly but still had to shovel. Now I see clear blue sky! But looking at radar round whatever we are on moves in around 6:30 PM. It is the second to last day for me for the basketball season, today. So should be a fun drive home in the storm. Anyone else ready for spring? I sure am!

Wait a minute. By shovel, do you actually mean shovel? I figure other than the beauty of everything being covered in a fresh layer of snow, the only benefit is being able to buy a big, manly snow blower.

Oh I have a snow blower! But when it is only an inch or two, it is actually easier to use the shovel. NO way am I going to shovel 2 feet of snow by hand. I have a snow blower that tank tracks!

I forgot to mention the earthquake this morning. A nice 3.8 hit and shook us pretty decently. I was actually in the shower when it happened and let's just say that was interesting.

A real man would shovel two feet of snow by hand! I know I would...that is if we actually had snow.

Says the guy who lives in a state where when a snowflake falls out of the sky the whole state shuts down.

I'd be finding out how much a heated driveway would set me back.

About 25k. Cheaper if they don't have to rip out the current driveway. And then they actually aren't that effective sadly. But trust me if we move and build I am putting one in. I do have heat strips on the roof though that I plug in to melt the snow off the room and gutters.

Yep...closest snow to me is probably about an hour or a little longer one direction...then about the same distance the other direction is the beach...

Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: Lord Super Stainless (1)
Soap/cream: Lakewood Honey Mash
Brush: Maggard's Synthetic
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Clubman Whiskey Woods

Okay today in the journal it is all about the soap. And one word AWESOME! The scent is out of this world good. It is everything I wanted it to be. The full name is Lakewood Soap Company Mr. Powell's Mellow Honey Mash. The scent is described as Whiskey, Honey, and Aged Wood. And let me tell you it is awesome. The ingredients are: Tallow, Water, Shea Butter, Stearic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, and Fragrance. Seeing the ingredient list I had high hopes for it at least being a Tier 2 soap or Tier 1. It is definitely on the higher end but I will use it a couple for days to offer up a final rating. But let me just say the scent is fantastic. It is worth buying on scent alone for sure. They do offer an aftershave balm but I would prefer a splash so I passed on the balm. THIS needs a splash!

Well the high school double header went well yesterday and the season will end for me on Tuesday as it comes to a close. The drive home yesterday was interesting it was practically white out conditions on the freeway just creeping along at 20 MPH at the most. So after cooking the family some pancakes, eggs, and sausage I am now getting ready to go outside and clear the driveway before we get more snow later this afternoon. What a vicious cycle. And yes Don I will be using my snow blower!
