It’s not a Mr Mom failure...it a teachable moment for the missus...don’t leave Mr Mom in charge of dinner.

Well guys Mr. mom failure #1. Today when I left I forgot to push the on button on the crock pot. So needless to say all the raw meat has most likely spoiled and I ordered pizza.
nah, just cover the meat in Pepper (hides the unique notes associated with rot) and deep fry it until crispy. Sure they will some gastric emptying but that’s to be expected when dad cooks

Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: Gillette Super Thin (1)
Soap/cream:Ballenclaugh Honey
Brush: Rudy Vey 2016 Group Buy
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Chiseled Face Trade Winds

Well I did get a shave in today. You can find a video out there somewhere. The shave went real well. I really enjoy this soap. The blade was part of the bad blade series and actually performed pretty well all things considered.

Megan is doing parent teacher conferences so I will be playing Mr. Mom tonight and tomorrow. Aside from that thanks for reading and commenting. Have a good day Cadre.

That soap just smells divine! ANd performs pretty well too! I can't believe that Super Thin performed well! I always thought those were cheap Chinese blades with no quality control!

Well today I did something that doesn't happen very often. I reached for a cream. The Godrej creams are excellent performers. If you don't have a tube of Godrej you truly are missing out. Somehow this cream hits all the marks. Slick, protective, and good post shave. If a cream deserved a tier 1 ranking this would be in the running. Not as good as top tier 1 soaps don't get me wrong, but there is something nice about knowing that you have a cream in your arsenal where you can squeeze out a snurdle and get an awesome shave. Plus you get to use the word snurdle.

Well one more night of Mr. Mom duties. My wife left the house after me, so hopefully she can work the crock pot better than I can. Supposed to have shredded chicken in there when I get home to make tacos. Who doesn't like tacos? The pizza was a hit obviously but WAY against my eating habits that I am trying to correct. Especially after losing 1.8 pounds at weigh in. I really want to lose 25 before football season starts. Would be nice to do it before spring ball but I don't think that is possible. Anyways work is calling and for the next 9 hours I am in back to back meetings so it is one of those days.

Have a good one cadre.

Another 25 pounds? I don't think there will be anything left of you Chad?

Yea just 25 more. Going to hit weight training hard this spring and summer. Must be prepared for football season. 25 more pounds was actually the agreed upon # with my doctor. He says I should be between 190 and 205. BMI says 170 (that's never gonna happen). 25 more puts me at 200 even. I would be happy with that.

Never a wrong day for tacos!

and today's lunch!

Dad pro tip: Order enough pizza for two dinners in a row.

Hmm sounds like College. When I would order an extra pizza just to throw in the fridge.

Don't forget the wings too

I actually tried the jalapeno pineapple from Pizza Hut. VERY GOOD!

And lots of caffeine-full soda.

We really try to avoid soda. And actually the couple of times my son has tried it, he didn't like it.

Ummm..... leftover pizza becomes tomorrow's breakfast!

Fo sure!

Razor: Schick Injector
Blade: Schick (?)
Soap/cream:Wholly Kaw Monaco Royale
Brush: Razorock Plissoft
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Chiseled Face Trade Winds

Well had plans to do another bad blade shave but mother nature had other plan unfortunately. So I reached for the Injectah that I always keep loaded. It provided a very nice comfortable shave. Which was wonderful. The Wholly Kaw is an excellent soap and performs wonderfully. The CF TW aftershave has roughly two applications left. I have been wanting to get back into theme shaving with the soaps, thinking of starting that up in March. Those of you that remember my time as steward at the other place might remember it. What do you guys think?

Well the storms are back but the temps are up in the middle of the valley. It rained where I work, but snowed back home where I live. The mountains are getting even more than me. This storm is supposed to be off and on through the weekend. I honestly can't remember a February like this EVER, it is crazy. So many storms. I am desperate for spring.

Hope you all have a great day.

How can a day go badly if it started with a ‘jectah shave? Alas, my experience with weight training was I just got bigger and heavier.

We get everything you get but liquid usually. Lots of flooding here lately but at the elevation I am at, if I am in danger, someone better be building and Ark somewhere

I am honestly concerned for the weather in the immediate future. Two years of the worse fires in California, two years of terrible winter storms. I'm fairly convinced it's not going to stop and just get worse.

I'll never understand, wanting to live in California.
