Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Razor: Razorock Game Changer .84
Blade: Parker (5)
Soap/cream: Chiseled Face Trade Winds (8)
Brush: Stirling Marble Brush
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Chiseled Face Trade Winds (8)

Well woke up this morning and felt a little bit more normal. SO opted for a shave. It all went well. The parker blade just keeps performing it is like the energizer bunny, if the bad blade series ever ends I think I will see how far I can push a Parker blade. The CFG soap continues to impress and I am actually really enjoying the 3017 thus far.

Homefront:

So last night the chills and fever set in, which might have been a good thing. Because today I actually feel somewhat normal. Due to the work schedule lightening up today, I opted to work from home and just relax and hope that this sickness is fully one.

There's a trooper. I feel poopy, I'm going to shave. I feel a little better, I'm going to shave. What a leader of his people!

Glad you’re feeling better Chad! See what good a shave can do for ya?

Hope you done with it too Chad....the illness not the 3017.

Thanks Dave. I hope as well.

Glad and you’re on the upswing!

Thanks Chris

Hey man I try and shave every day if I can. 9/9 so far this year.

Glad you’re feeling better Chad! See what good a shave can do for ya?

Thanks KJ

Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: Dorco 300 (1)
Soap/cream: Chiseled Face Trade Winds (9)
Brush: Paladin Pk-47 Briarwood
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Chiseled Face Trade Winds (9)

Okay well today I am finally feeling pretty much 100% normal. So a bad blade shave was in order, must continue the series. The shave actually went pretty well. I am also still really like the CFG 3017 I picked a great scent, and it is paring with all the colognes I have thrown at it, today I am doing a Green Irish Tweed clone scent.

The shave ended well.

Well like I mentioned feeling better today which is nice. Just a residual sore throat but nothing crazy. The work week has just been crazy, and it continues to be crazy. With no slowdown in site, honestly feeling a little burned out in my current role. Might need to start looking into a job transfer or request a different department. I have been over the testing departement for 4.5 years now, might be time for a change.

Anyways have a good day Cadre.

Good shave Chad; glad you’re pretty much back to good. Sorry you’re feeling antsy about the current position. What would your options be in transferring? Are talking like out of state entirely different role?

Well only places I could transfer outside of the state would be Chicago, Rochester, NY, or Phoenix. The wife has put her foot down on all of those options. So I will be looking at another position here at this location. Don't really want to leave the company as I start the year with 35 days of vacation. Where else will I possibly get that?

Yea that’s understandable.

Unemployment!

I was way behind Chad. Glad you’re feeling better. That Tradewinds sounds pretty good. I just assumed it was a Bay Rum type of scent but after reading the scent description it’s clearly not lol.

Thanks for reading along. Definitely not a Bay Rum scent. I am not a big fan of Bay Rum usually.

I’m typically not a fan either. So naturally I kind of skipped over this scent in the past. Although I may have to get into some Bay Rums. Apparently SWMBO is a fan of Bay Rum scents that are light on the clove.

Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: Dorco 300 (2)
Soap/cream: Chiseled Face Trade Winds (10)
Brush: Sadie Brush
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Chiseled Face Trade Winds (10)

Alright well the 10th shave on the Trade Winds today. I have this soap dialed in and it is performing well. I have been very impressed with this soap. I grabbed the Sadie Brush today and got an excellent lather from it. The blade is part of the bad blade series and my opinion is pretty simple, smooth and comfortable but lacks sharpness.

Well back on the hardwood today, as I turned back a few games earlier in the week due to sickness. I am itching to get back out there and am looking forward to a competitive game, between rival separated by 5 miles. Have a great weekend cadre.

Haven't heard any ref stories for a while. Things just too busy or has the season been going smoothly?

Things have been very busy for me, and I don't have a good excuse for not posting stories. I have had a few things happen on the court. Coaches yelling at me, kids throwing punches, and also some nailbiter of game had a double overtime last week for example.
