Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Razor: Razorock SLOC
Blade: Parker (3)
Soap/cream: Chiseled Face Trade Winds (6)
Brush: Rudy Vey 2016 Group Buy
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Chiseled Face Trade Winds (6)

Well today's shave went much better than yesterdays and I am happy with the results. The SLOC paired with the Parker blade just delivered a PERFECT shave. BBS+ and super close. The CFG soap continues to provide great lathers on this 3017 adventure and only 6 shaves in probably 25 or so more to go.

Homefront:

Well yesterday we went out as a family for my birthday with the parents and grandparents etc. Was a nice day at a family style Italian restaurant I ate way to much pasta but it was so good. The storm is is getting ready for round 2 which should make for a fun ride home today from work. Plenty of snow in the yard just happy I have a snow blower as I would hate moving this thick heavy wet snow with a shovel.

I got a kick out of your last post saying you want to move south.......sir you are the in the south.

Stay safe out there.

Mmmmmmm Italian. Sounds like a good time. By Wednesday we'll be a high of 34......
As, I guess that answers my question about our rain turning into your show.
We are supposed to hit 74 degrees today. But then the temp starts dropping again. Bipolar weather here in the winter.

You 3 make me jealous with your awesome weather.
I heard we were supposed to have a rough winter this year. So far we’ve been lucky and it’s been mostly just rain instead of snow.

I could take that

When we talk about moving south here what we really mean is down as in lower elevation. If I could land a job that paid like my current one does I would move to southern Utah. A nice 60-70 during the winter. About two weeks of 100-110 and the rest of the year is 85-95. While yes hot I think we would acclimate and no SNOW!

Well I really didn't want to shave this morning but more on that in the homefront. I did shave and I had a nice two pass shave with BBS on the cheeks and DFS on the neck. Can't complain about that result. I will weigh the soap when I get home and see how my progress is coming on the soap.

Last night about midnight I was woken up to that feeling. Ya know the one where you need to get to the bathroom quick? I wasn't sure what end was going to come and happy to report it only came from the south. Made for a rough night. I feel better now but still not 100%. I am so busy at work this time of year so I have no choice but to be here. I am hoping this passes quickly. I had plans of doing a bad blade review today but sadly with the state I was in that was NOT going to happen. Have a good day Cadre.

Man, I feel your pain! Some kind of stomach virus is making its way around my house as well. Terrible yesterday, and a little more tolerable today. Luckily I have some flexibility to work from home. Feel better!

Thank you everyone for commenting. Usually I can work from home too, but managing a department today I have to turn in preliminary ratings and doing 9-box meeting all day. Also why I have been a little MIA this week.

And Mr. Kentucky 34 and wind sounds better than 20s and wind. I drive into the city every day for work, where I live it is even colder. Was a brisk 15 degrees this morning on the drive in.

Yeah Mr. Utah, from a heated car to a heated office. I get an hour commute to work in the cold temps outside. I'd trade ya ?

Thanks everyone. Still not feeling well. Been trying to read and keep up but sadly a fever has started to accompany.

I think that it is funny to hear you all talk about the cold as we just been hanging around 12 deg.
