Yea my Uncle is the guy in charge at Fort Knox. Well technically not anymore. He handed over command in June. But his son is in his senior year of high school so the Army is letting him stay on base one more year so his son can enjoy his senior year. Then he is going to officially retire from the Army.

Well today I had a nice shave with a sample from Don but I must be honest I am torn on this scent. The performance was top notch no doubt about that. But the scent is very weird. The whole time I kept getting a weird random scent that reminded me of homemade root beer or like a sasparilla. Anyone else getting that vibe?
Anyways the shave was great I got a nice comfortable shave, and ready to attack the day. I finished it up with Floid Blue!

I have a busy week at work lined up with a big install happening this coming weekend. So just going to be trying to get caught up as quickly as I can. Have a great Monday Cadre.

Hey Chad, been using the water tracking app you mentioned. It does the trick when I'm at work. It's crazy how much of a continual effort it is to hit a water goal. Now I just need to bring my bottle home and do it and the weekends as well.
I can see the root beer sasparilla scent that you are picking up...a lot of florals have that. Sorry you are not a fan...but at least the soaps is good stuff.
Interesting. I'm hoping that Merz in Chicago might have a tub of that when I'm there in a couple of weeks. My interest of this one is piqued even more now.
I am so behind on Videos I won't get to it probably for a few days though. So report back!

Just a lot going on with the scent. Honestly it started making me a tad nauseous. Which means I very glad you sent me sample otherwise I would be looking to sell off a full puck. I have a few packages going out in the next couple of days so the remaining sample will be PIFed forward.
It is definitely interesting. I will be curious to see what you think.
Probably not likely...sorry Chris. It was a limited batch. I bid on a tub of it on the bay to try to stock up on it and was outbid. I'm not looking hard, but the little I am looking...I'm not seeing many on the BSTs.

So today I grabbed a sample that Lisa included in my order, the Smoked Black Tea and this one has seemed to get very mixed reviews on scent. Not sure what some of you are smelling LOL, this smells just like fresh tea leaf out of the jar while being in a Tea Shop in Chinatown. While not a scent that I would normally like to wear for extended periods of time, as a soap scent it works. The performance was still very good, but I still not quite ready to call the final rating on her new soap base. I need at least one more shave I feel. I finished it off with the British Sterling and I am ready to attack the day.

Not much to report. My boss is in town this week, so have had a lot of extra meetings. I have all my football assignments for this week so looking forward to another fun week of football. Have a great day cadre!
