Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Razor: Game Changer .84
Blade: Parker (6)
Soap/cream: LEA Shave Cream
Brush: Razorock Barrel
Aftershave1: Thayer's Cucumber
Aftershave2: AV Balm

Well been a little inattentive to my journal around here this week. Sorry about that. But all the shaves have pretty much been the same. Changed up the aftershave a little bit. The LEA cream is a top notch cream. While I most likely will never replace it as I enjoy the LEA Shave Stick more. It is nice to know that this tube will deliver excellent shaves.

Well the wife and kids left wednesday evening for a family reunion down in southern Utah, that I couldn't attend due to a clinic tomorrow morning for the upcoming football season. So yesterday I met with a friend for dinner and a beer. Then mowed the lawn. Tonight I will go help out at bingo, unless those of you that mentioned it will be showing up for bbq? Well??? Then tomorrow a busy day of football all day! Isn't it great?! Hope you all have a great weekend!

All caught up Chad. Sounds and looks like the trip was a blast! Friends of ours have recently got into camping and we’ve been throwing around around the idea of going with them on their next trip in the fall. I’ve never camped before so I’m a little hesitant lol.

Razor: Game Changer .84
Blade: Bolzano (2)
Soap/cream: LEA Shave Cream
Brush: Stirling Finest
Aftershave1: Thayer's Cucumber
Aftershave2: AV Balm

Well been continuing with the LEA cream and today was another fantastic shave. In fact the last few days have all been great. There is definitely something to just walking in the bathroom grabbing the bowl and shaving. It's not a thought at all right now. Just a great shave. The cream might make it through the week. We shall see. Getting ready to get back into the bad blade shaves though, might be back before September. We shall see. But still behind on videos.

Well passed my physical and fitness test. So now working on the written test should have that done soon. working scrimmage this Friday, and assignments for the first couple of weeks should be out sometime this week. I am so ready to get back on the field. Free time at home has been spent with the kids, reading, and studying the rulebooks. So no real time for shave videos. But will try and get caught up soon. Sorry to those that are putting out videos and I am not catching them. Have a great day cadre!

Glad the fitness tests are passed! That’d always be a worry for me after vacation months or holiday seasons lol!

Look forward to the game posts from you Chad! Football and basketball season seem to roll right into each other and keep you busy! Not like you have enough on your plate as it is!

Shaves are going well. About 3 shaves left on the LEA cream. Then back to some rotations.

Tomorrow is first day back on the field so EXCITED!

Busy week with my boss in town but have gotten alot done. Tomorrow morning I am volunteering with work we are building a playground for a low income neighborhood at a park. Should be fun, but hot!

Have a good day cadre.

Glad the LEA is almost done...I bet you are too lol!

Cool beans about the park build! That happened to the park across the street from us the first year we moved in. Crazy process but it was great to help and see the hundreds of people that came to help the community!

I wish I was Chad’s boss so I could fly into town and tell him to just take the day off.

Razor: Razorock SLOC
Blade: Parker (2)
Soap/cream: Stirling Triumph
Brush: Stirling Finest Fan
Aftershave1: Thayer's Cucumber
Aftershave2: Stirling Triumph

Well since the LEA cream bit the dust I have been using the Triumph from Stirling. I really enjoy this scent and it is a winner in my book. Not sure why but haven't really been in the mood for constant change in the shave department. I grab a different brush each day but that has been it. How do I get out of this rut? At least the shaves are close and comfortable, isn't that the point?

Well football last friday was good, worked a high school's blue and white game and those are fun because the coaches are more laid back and actually listen to us and invite us to go over rules with the team. This season is going to be struggle on two fronts. High school is going to the 40/25 second clock, which normally wouldn't be a problem except for some of the lower class games the clock operator is whoever they can pull out of detention. They also re-worded the illegal formation rule on offense to this, "Offense must have at minimum 5 players on the line, and at maximum 4 in the backfield." What this does is actually get rid of flags as now an offense can in theory run with 9 players on the field, why they would I don't know, but hey its kids out there. For some reason though coaches are totally misinterpreting this and only reading the first part. I had a pretty lengthy discussion with the coach friday that the rule change does not mean he can run a Canadian style offense or an Arena style offense. This seemed to really baffle him. Is it friday yet? Week 1 begins this friday and I am READY!

Have a good day Cadre.
