Chad's adventures of shaving, officiating, and life

Well today was the use of the Iron Throne. The scent is just fantastic! Upon lathering woodsy warm notes come out but it is FREEZING on the face. Such a play on the senses. I really enjoyed this scent. And the performance was typical CBL performance so elite.

I am perfect BBS today.

Unfortunate mis-read of the morning. As I was scrolling through, I saw the tub and read "Iron Thong."

We had a similar happening at a previous home. They didn’t think the tree would get so big. We had the tree moved, but it hadn’t got quite as big as yours.

The one think I dislike about newer neighborhood developments...lack of trees. It’s a shame you have to get rid of one so established, but sounds like the right choice in this case.

GOT soap sounds fun!

Good reads, Chad. We're going to have a similar situation with our new house. When the house was built, 2 Juniper trees were put up right next to the slab. That was 10 years ago, now they're fully mature trees and too close to the foundation slab. I'm hoping it won't be too much of an issue, but we'll see.

Okay first sorry for not updates here from over the weekend but I was put into slave labor lol. Saturday I shaved with CBL Blueberry Muffin AMAZING. Sunday aI shaved with Breakfast Blend also very good but a tad bit sweeter than I expected, curious to hear what beans @CBLSoap.com used on this.

TODAY:

Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: 7 AM Plus Durablade (1)
Soap/cream: CBL Chocolate Decadence
Brush: Razorock Barrel Brush
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Cherry City Oatmeal Stout

Well today I used a soap that is probably the strongest scented soap I have EVER used. And it is so good! I just wanted to take a bite out of it! The scent literally filled the whole upstairs. So good and so yummy. I decided to pair it with the Oatmeal Stout and it was a nice match.

Homefront

Well after spending two full days in the yard the garden is ready for plants. That will be this coming weekends adventure. Back is a little sore and arms are sore but glad the work is all done, it is always nice and feel accomplished when you do something yourself. Tonight I am helping with a spring basketball tournament that a lot of the high schools have entered as AAU teams, so should be competitive play. Anyways I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend and now back to catching up!

Way to knock out the yard/garden stuff. Good luck keeping it maintained...I’ve found that to be just as much a struggle as setting it up.

Hooray for coming back into ref-ing season!

Razor: Razorock Game Changer.84
Blade: 7 AM Plus Durablade (2)
Soap/cream: CBL Sir Fougere
Brush: Razorock Disruptor
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Sir Irisch Moos

Well today was another new soap from CBL and I LOVE this scent. Very nice fresh green scent and it is absolutely perfect. I obviously paired it with the Irisch Moos, and am happy to see I have a suitable companion for this wonderful scent. The shave was good and I really enjoyed it.

Homefront

Nothing crazy to report. It felt good to be back on the court last night doing a game. I did have one minor lapse of judgement though and awarded a timeout when I shouldn't have, which means I had an inadvertent whistle. But all is good, if a mistake is going to happen let it be off season such as this. The rain is hitting now so no eating outside today sadly. We are going to go pick up our new blinds after work as the windows are being installed on Thursday. Why are blinds so expensive? MY GOODNESS!

Anyways hope you all have a wonderful day!
