Razor: Timeless .68
Blade: Cloud Shanghai (1)
Soap/cream: Soap Commander Motivation
Brush: TSC 1st Anniversary Brush
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: AV Balm

Geez just trying to get caught up today. I really let things go the last couple days as I was working in the yard. But hey a shave was had today and we must discuss. The SC Motivation is an excellent shave! Absolutely LOVE this scent. I wish I had gotten the matching balm though but oh well. My hands are still pretty beat up if you watched my video so I was NOT going to use anything with alcohol in it as that would have been PAINFUL it was bad enough when I doused them in hydrogen peroxide and prepped them with antibiotic cream. Anyways the shave was as good as it could be but the blade was not good.

Well it is Easter Sunday and we started the day with rain, then headed to mass, and had it was a wonderful service, very peaceful. Then back home with blue skies. But wait for it this happened:

Have a good day Cadre

Umm...you could have worn surgical gloves to apply the aftershave! A real man would have done it anyway without gloves. Want me to get you your coloring book? 🤪

Razor: Game Changer .84
Blade: Cloud Shanghai (2)
Soap/cream: Beehive Bay Rum
Brush: Razorock Beehive
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: AV Balm

Well today I had a nice shave this morning with the Beehive Bay Rum. I swear if this artisan built a larger presence she would be more well known. Her soap is fantastic and I absolutely love the base. I'm not really a big fan of bay rum scents and have tried many over the years. But this is one I keep on hand. I would recommend this to anyone who is picky on Bay Rum.

Well after getting the kids to bed and catching up on some television we headed off to bed, just to be woken up by the phone ringing at 1AM. My brother in-law's wife had gone into labor and our niece was making her entrance into the world. They wanted Megan there so she headed to hospital. So after work today I plan to go meet my new niece. Always a joyous day when a new baby enters the family.

Have a great Monday Cadre.

Woo, congrats to the family! Hope all went smoothly.

Congrats uncle!

Well it was supposed to be a planned c-section next week. But with her water breaking it turned into an emergency c-section. But baby is here healthy, and mom is doing fantastic as well. So a small scare but everything is perfect.

A. Congrats on the new family member!

B. What about the Beehive makes you like it better than other bay rums?

Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Feather Pro (1)
Soap/cream: Captain's Choice North
Brush: Paladin Pk-47
Aftershave1: Humphrey's Witch Hazel
Aftershave2: Captain's Choice North

Well sticking with the theme as best I can I grabbed North from CC. I am not a fan of Bay Rum but I do like this scent and it is a shame it was discontinued. The highlight of this shave was the Vector. I have a couple of observations I outlined in my video today. But so far it seems very promising. Not quite sure yet if I am willing to say the hype is real. But there is something here that is for sure.

Nothing crazy to report. We didn't stay long at the hospital yesterday as they were understandably exhausted and they had there older daughter there. So they needed some family time. We will be bringing them dinner today. I'll also say I didn't see any nurses playing cards.

We recorded the radio show and this is going to be a fun one!
