Well this shave was BAD! Honestly it rivals the Graham Field and not in a good way. So @Spider let's see how far you can push this blade. Tiger does make a stainless steel blade as well that is apparently better performing. But the common consensus on this blade is trash. The blade is made in the Czech Republic but rumor is that the Stainless Steel version they made in in a chinese plant and it performs better. Maybe i'll get the Stainless steel one some day.
You can get them on Amazon not sure why you would want to but you can. $12.99 per 100.
This blade is getting a ranking of TRASH!
RATING SYSTEM
TRASH: Can't get a good shave. This blade is horrible. Never use again.
BAD: A bad blade but technically still got a serviceable shave, but have no desire to use the blade again.
GOOD: It was good enough that if I have another blade I wouldn't hesitate to use it.
100PACK: This blade was good enough to warrant stocking up!
Well first off I must call out that this is the 100th entry into the bad blade series! And if you take a quick glance at the first post you will see there is about 65 or so bad blades left to review. So we should hit 200 easily. Crazy how this has evolved. But I have enjoyed. Hope you all are too.
These blades are made in Bangladesh by the company called Samah Razor Blades - Durablade. You should check out their website they have a lot of DE razors actually some I have NEVER heard of. Durablade.biz
This COmpany makes Sharp, Champion, Abest, Loi, and Clifton branded blades. And they all seem to be fairly well received when reading reviews.
The blade used today is a nice Chromium plated blade that actually provided a VERY nice shave. IT was surprisingly more comfortable than I remember. It provided a very nice shave and allowed for extra clean-up. IT is definitely on the milder side of things so looking forward to putting it in a more aggressive razor.
They can be found here:
Amazon 100 pack @ $10.99 so about 11 cents per blade
Maggards 200 pack @ $45.98 about 23 cents per blade
WCS 100 pack @ $14.50 about 15 cents per blade
Well today I used the Sharp Chromium and it was a very nice shave today. I went into this shave thinking I was going to give myself another 100 pack blade, but the shave was actually just not quite there. While it was smooth, and I ended up in a very nice spot. Now just 3 hours post shave, I am seeing that the shave was actually not as close as originally thought. Because of that I opted to give it a good rating. Although as mentioned yesterday they offer a lot of blade choices. I have a feeling that one of them is probably 100 pack worthy.

Well today was another shave in the bad blade series this time with the 7AM Blade from Durablade Samah made in Bangladesh. THis blade is platinum chromium plated and provided a very smooth shave that was surprisingly very comfortable. We might have a contender here in these blades. A lot of people haven't used them but tend to try them when first starting to use DE razors. I would recommend if that be the case for you that you revisit them.

Price wise you can get that at Amazon $10.99 per 100 so about 11 cents per blade. Or at Maggards for $14 per 100 pack about 14 cents per blade.
Well not going to lie I struggled with rating this blade today. The shave was very good, but once put in a more aggressive razor I had more blade feel than I would prefer as it was a scraping sensation. Then I remembered some feedback I read on this blade, that they go downhill fast. I wonder if that was part of it? Most people say they get on average 2-3 shaves from these blades then it is in the bin they go. While I got a nice shave and the result I wanted, I did end with one small nic on the lower neck. That coupled with the blade feel today, I am going to not put this in the 100 pack rating and instead give it a good rating.

Well today back to the bad blade series. Up today is a blade from India made by the Malhorta Shaving Products company. We have reviewed blades from this company before and they didn't go well. This blade there is not a lot of information out there at all. And in fact I couldn't find a website that I would be willing to put my credit card on to buy these in bulk. Mixed reviews all over the place but not sure if this blade is actually just discontinued?
Well today was shave #2 with this blade and I must say NOT good. It really tugged and pulled today. This blade I thought was going to sneak into the bad category after yesterday but after today's shave. No choice but to put in the trash category. Stay away from this one.

Well today was an excellent shave actually. Was quite blown away by this blade. I expected much worse. The Zorrik blade comes from India made by the Super Max company. Many claim these are the blades that barbers in India use. The shave was plenty smooth, felt a little rough on the ATG pass but that could have been me. After all the bad blades lately I am inclined to just go 100 pack but I need to be objective so tomorrow I will be more judgemental.
You can get these at Amazon for about $14.99 about 15 cents per blade. And at Maggards $6 for 50 blades so about 12 cents per blade.
