CBL version of Williams Tonsorial Shaving Soap

I stickified the last bit of my Jeris (works great in that form as well BTW!) and will be doing the same with my Oatmeal Stout and LFM samples.
Just out of curiosity, what are the approximate dimensions of your shave stick? I’m probably going to make some 2” rounds just because there are standard pipes available in that size. But a stick sounds interesting

I generally use a repurposed deodorant stick as well as a glue stick container. Don't make them in those dimensions, go for the Tabac stick format. (please please please)

Chris, I have a few of these which are perfect for an Arko stick.

If you want one I can send you one.

I'd be down with that format, especially if the center hole came pre-formed!

the thing to remember is that for anyone who travels making something 100 ml or less is TSA approved size... just my .02

In my dopp kit I actually use a large glue stick container. It holds like an oz. Which is enough for several trips.

TSA has volume constraints on non-liquids?
it depends... if its mushy at all like some softer soaps they can be picky.. some have had to throw away soapy that TSA said were "mushy" they said it could be a danger. TBH it is more up to the individual TSA agent you are dealing with i just think its better to be safe than sorry...Personally im not as familiar with "Public" air transportation I either flew in military transportation when i was still in the service or I fly private(my family has had pilots licenses and planes my whole life )..... i havent flown on a public transportation plane in years and years...

I used my Money version of this today. That's the Plain Jane one. Lathered great and shaved even better. Smooth as "buttah". I used a "ball end" Tech razor and an obscure made in Brasil Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade (2nd usage) for the shave. It's a better soap than store bought Williams easily and I actually like Williams.

What I like about CBL is that the co. seems to approach this from an objective scientific manner and not get swept up in the Nancy Boy PSF mania that is currently all the rage. It's the actual shave that matters. ;)
