Bourbon Country Shave Journal - Dave in KY

Video is in the VLOG section and I welcome comments as I get back into this.
Well, I would say orange is more of a fall colour and you should be wearing more baby blues and light greens. It's probably a bit too early for floral patterns, but maybe on the weekends. Or is that not the type of comment you were looking for?

I know but can't trust your judgement as you're partial to greens 😎

Nice shave and pic!

Comments? Huh. Maybe barn wood, lever action and a wheel gun instead of green background?

Well done on the photo today! Video cued for later.

I can’t imagine my life without a dog. I went through a brief period where I tried other pets, but it just wasn’t the same. A dog is just the perfect pet companion!

2019 Shave # 90 ( 143 Consecutive Shaves )
Razor: Game Changer .84
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (1)
Brush: Sorrentino Cadre Legacy
Soap: CBL Orange Dirt
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Terre D'hermes
Fragrance: Terre D'hermes

Celebratory shave and was looking forward to this set up ever since getting the Frag from @cmh737 Went with the Game Changer as yesterdays shave left me with irritation and I'm saying a mix of user error and also the soap being so drying and not lick enough for the shave. That's my story and I'm sticking with it :p Awesome shave today after a haircut and shower. I needed @CBLindsay soap to make up for yesterday's debacle. I feel good and I smell MARVELOUS !! Look out world....................oh wait, I don't have to go anywhere other than the Post Office to file another search thingy for my lost razor. They said it qualify's today if not arrived. I think it searches partial addresses, tracking and partial packages (that has me nervous) Really bummed by this but at least I have a goody coming today to lift my spirits. Guy coming from Ohio to buy my boat and if he doesn't take it today I'm getting a chance to get out in it for sure. Have a great day Cadre !!

Good stuff Dave.

The best days for boat owner' the day they buy it and the day they sell it.

My parents have a boat. I love the memories on it, and enjoy taking the kids out. But don't really have a desire to buy one.

You know you really have some shaving addictions when you sell your boat to finance new soaps.

Thanks Chad. Only a couple thousand tied up in this one but it was a size I hunted for quite some time and hate to sell. Used it once in past almost 2 years. Hate to see it just sit. I have friends I could go out with to fish that often........
