Blade: Schick Proline (10)
Brush: Stirling Boar (3)
Soap: Ariana & Evans NYC
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Ariana & Evans NYC
Fragrance: Bleu De Chanel Eau De Parfum

Was going to do a video but just wasn't feeling it today. 3rd use of the Stirling Boar and went to just 5 hairs lost today. 9 on the 2nd use and and a couple dozen on the 1st so we're heading the right direction. Yay !!! Had a great shave with the NYC scent of A&E which I topped off the post shave with Bleu De Chanel. It's description I found was "The men’s fragrance features afresh Citrus accord followed by ambery Cedar notes. Woods are amplified by TonkaBean and Vanilla for heightened sensuality. New Caledonian Sandalwood unfolds at the base for greater depth."

I get a nice fresh and clean citrus scent that isn't cloying and with no 1 citrus being distinguishable. It must be the wood notes tempering it without standing out on their own but staying in the background.....................hey, I'm evolving here.

I've never tried it myself, but I found this on the interwebs (I'm always hunting for scent descriptions... I've become quite good at the search). Does it seem valid, @Dave in KY ?

"In terms of that subjective fragrance, NYC is a winner for me. Off the dry tub, I detected tangerine and something close to tomato leaf or green pepper. This is certainly not what I experienced as soon as the damp brush began stirring up the fragrance in the shower. NYC opened with a rather sharp and bold bergamot and woody lavender. Despite the perplexing green pepper off the dry tub (not the way to assess a soap's real fragrance), this is one of the least herbaceous fougères I've used. This sharp--approaching bitter---citrus gave way to woody lavender about midway through the first pass. Progressing from there, the fragrance became more woody and slightly darker as the characteristics shifted from sharp to slightly creamy, and finally a very subtle powder which prevented this darkening from becoming bleak. This is very much a wearable fragrance..."

Blade: Feather Proguard (?)
Brush: Sorrentino Sea Foam
Soap: CBL Cut Tobacco
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Small Batch Shave Tonic
Fragrance: CK Liquid Gold Euphoria

Watch @Majorrich 's video this morning wielding his Limey Batman and thought, hey it's been awhile. I need to use mine this morning. MISTAKE :p 1st pass going fine with no issues.........................then I catch a little spot on my neck but not bad. Doing the stache area on a down stroke where my scar is and grabbed it good. Blood running down to the chin while I finish the 1st pass. Decided prudence was in order and finished with the Rockwell 6s. Survived the battle to fight another day 🤪 Stopping the blood flow under the nose is taking a bit but I'll live. It reminds me that if I want to use the Feather at all, I really need to do it more regularly to get and keep a feel for it. Cadre Friday today so have a good day Cadre !!!
