Bourbon Country Shave Journal - Dave in KY

Blade: Wizamet (5)
Brush: Sorrentino Orange Crush
Soap: Monkey Puck
Aftershave 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla
Aftershave 2: Nivea 2 into 1 Splash
Fragrance: TBD

So, let me lay to rest rumors that John @The Monkey is making soap. He did NOT make these but has found a sponsor for his Soap Company Name he was pushing for the Tonsorial line. I'm going to reserve my thoughts on the soap until a few more uses as I get a feel for it but it is a good soap for sure. The scent vanilla, banana,cherry - fruity blend. I'd name it "Fruiti Tuiti" or "Monkey Business" but they are still involved in board meetings ironing out details and such. It gave me an enjoyable surface for the Rockwell to skate around on and scent was a little lighter while shaving but still present. Thanks John for the chance to try this and will use tomorrow as well. Yesterday I pushed it a little hard at work as I had an extra job come up (new customer) so after a long day, it was home to ibuprofen and an ice pack. Taking today off to rest the body a bit. Have a Stupendous day Cadre !!!
PS - My wife asked, "Why does he have to make the Monkey so evil looking?"- I told her, "It's a Bingo thing"

PS: I agree, the name monkey business would be awesome for a soap. [emoji846]
 
Dang it, Dave! You gotta take care of yourself! I hope you heal up quick, hermano. Monkey Business sounds like a good summer scent to me.

Ummmm, I never heal up completely....................just enough to get back at it for awhile. Years of not being nice to your body catches up eventually (Just ask @ShawnF ) and you can't turn the clock back. It is what it is buddy but I do stay hydrated. Tim's a "Pot Stirrer" which is why I like him. 🤪

I feel you. I'm doing what I can to take care of myself before it's too late.

@MilkCrate is a pretty alright dude considering he's...a milk.......crate.
